I. Arrival

(( Possible 5.4 spoilers ))

A. [ The cold water is a shock when Ryne lands in it. She would’ve thought she was dreaming if it didn’t chill her down to her bones. She manages to swim to the surface, coughing loudly and disoriented. The Lady frightens her at first, but she doesn’t resist since she doesn’t really have the strength too. Thankfully she’s here to help, and Ryne’s on her way after that encounter.

She’s swimming to the shore when one of the turtles scoop her up onto its back. It spooks her, but it only takes a moment to realize it’s here to help. Ryne holds on tight, and if she weren’t so disoriented and cold, it might actually be fun. But alas, she really can’t enjoy herself like this.

Thanks to the turtle, Ryne makes it to safety, feet on solid ground at last. The cold has already exhausted her, so she makes sure to thank the creature for the lift. She rubs her arms as she looks around, and naturally she’s drawn to the staircase. She’d gawk in awe if her lips weren’t trembling so much. ]

Wh-What is this place…?

[ She takes in a deep breath before taking a step forward toward the cliffs. Maybe you could join her or help guide the new lost soul? ]

B. [ Ryne’s feeling a lot better once she’s warmed up with a coat and on her way with the carriage, but she’s almost just as confused as before. How did she end up in this mysterious world? Where is Gaia? She was so focused on making sure she was safe before that she didn’t consider these things until now. But even still, she doesn’t have all the answers she needs even with the short explanation they were given.

She’s been given a helpful resource though: the smartphone. She’s never had one, but they remind her of the tomestones from back home for the look alone. But also it doesn’t take her long to learn as she’s always been a quick learner.
So soon enough, Ryne sends out a message: ]

Hello? My name is Ryne and I just arrived here. I apologize for the stiffness of this message, but I’ve never done anything like this before. I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about this place. It’s my first time traveling to another world, and I’m not sure what to think. I feel like I should be home instead...

II. Familiar Familiars & Light Magic

A. [ After a short ride on the caravan, Ryne arrives in the City of Camelot. She’s no stranger to cities, but still she feels in awe seeing it. A whole new place like this is amazing to her, and she really isn’t sure how to get her bearings at first. Where should she start? She needs to find shelter and food to start…
Luckily, someone is here to help her! It’s her familiar: a housecat sized Forgiven Reticence! It flies over to her in excitement, ready to love on his new partner. However, he isn’t greeted back so kindly. He just barely dodges a swipe from her daggers, and Ryne crouchs into a fighting stance with a glare on her face. ]

Sin Eater! What is it doing here!?

[ Maybe someone should stop her before she kills her own familiar... ]

B. [ Some time later after Ryne stops trying to kill the white lion, she can be found in a quieter part of the city. She sits on a bench while staring at her hands, flexing her fingers every so often. A few light sparkles emerge when she does, and her eyes widen at the sight. She was told her old powers are gone, now replaced with something new, but it still seems aligned to the Light somehow.

No one has told her what she can do specifically, so she’s been trying a few things out. It seems her healing abilities are gone along with her aura reading. But she can produce light which is new to her. And when she really focuses…
She’s able to hold a solid ball of light in her hand after trying to make it solid. It has weight and warmth somehow, and she can’t help but be amazed with herself. ]

Incredible… there’s so much I could do with this!

[ She seems so excited about this. ]

[Seems like someone else is amazed by it too. Usagi just so happens to be nearby, when that cute girl starts playing with her magic and Usagi is instantly getting very close to her to get a better view of it.]

[Usagi looks so excited about it, her eyes are shining like stars and looks like this is the most amazing thing she has ever seen! ...Well, it's her first time really seeing this type of magic here.]
