[ Of course he'd take up the duty of guarding some interesting creature. He's not quite sure how they could be considered a delicacy, given that they seem pretty leafy. And he doesn't like vegetables. Not even a little. Today, as he guards, he's moving round keeping eyes on the creatures from a short distance as he wants to ensure that he keeps his eyes on the scene without being in their bubble. They seemed to have paired people up today to help ensure that should anything happen, that they'd have backup.
It seems quiet now, but he knows that it won't be like that forever. ]
