If You Knew What It Meant To Me
🧙 WHO: Colette Brunel, Open
⚔️️ WHAT: Catch-All from November Test Drive prompts!
🕒 WHEN: November
🗺️ WHERE: Woods, Camelot. Around?
⚠️ WARNINGS: Colette's canon involves some pretty dark implications including some body horror with her Angel Transformation to some extent, gradually losing her humanity to become an empty vessel, Human Ranches. Yeah. Also self sacrifice and her grappling with the consequences of that in canon.
Woods: A Cure on Cloud Nine
[Colette.....is a klutz. So it's probably to nobody's surprise that knows her that the traps get set off around her. But somehow it is never Colette herself that gets caught? Usually more like, it ends up with some creature that was about to attack her or such getting caught instead. Similar in how Sheena got caught in that trap when they first met when she had been actually approaching to try assassinate the oblivious Chosen. And of course, Colette....is apologizing to whatever creature or such that got caught, and is subsequently trying to free it.....?
As what the heck she is doing? Help her? Tell her off that they have more important things to worry about with their petrified friends?]
Paralysis, Paralysis, and Paralysis Again
[Colette is more one for the insomniac group, but she has been rather savoring actually being able to sleep while here in Camelot. Once she actually felt tired since arriving and realized she did need to in fact sleep and eat again. She thus does succumb to sleep herself eventually, after the trip to the forest and all.
Her self-worth was never the best to begin with, given how she was raised to be a sacrifice as the Chosen and all. Colette is trying to work on that in realizing that isn't necessary, that Lloyd saves her but it's a work in progress more than something she's accepted and been able to build up her self-worth overnight. So it's easy for that to crumple under the influence of the sleep paralysis demons. Her previous resignation in never telling Lloyd how she feels, now not because she knows there's no point when she is to die, but more because of that doubt in his feelings for her. What if he didn't feel the same way? He's Lloyd. So kind and all, of course he would do that for any of his friends. Not just Colette. Of course that doesn't mean he necessarily loves her.....]
Camelot: Magical Flu Season
[Even as an Angel, Colette was not immune to getting some sort of illness. She's just more used to it being more mundane. A cold, sneezing or such. Not. Like this. With Colette feeling so awful and also unintentionally causing others to pick up on her abilities here, on her Green Magic or her Light Magic. She doesn't realize that is a risk as she heads out in dragging herself from bed in hoping to get some medicine for it perhaps. As she accidentally trips and bumps into someone along the way, quick to apologize.]
