A Cure on Cloud Nine

[Somehow. Somehow, Kyo was not one of those inflicted in being paralyzed. So he went out to help. He. Might just be getting himself frustrated though, for as nimble and quick to react as he is, he is still occasionally finding himself stuck with the traps. Loudly grumbling as he tries to free himself from the net by....well he doesn't have a rope so he's just apparently trying to bite or rip it in figuring a hole in it big enough to get himself through. He might be there a while....or maybe you come across him when he is struggling against the vine trap. Trying to wriggle in getting his hands free enough to try and get free.]

This -- stupid....ngh. Dammit!! I don't have time for this!

Woods: Paralysis, Paralysis, and Paralysis Again

[Kyo, of course. Was one of the ones that went to the woods to try help out and all. He is no stranger either to sleep issues. Given his own guilt and his own insecurities he has and is dealing with still. He just doesn't anticipate the accompanying paralysis. Not having experienced it before. Only maybe vaguely heard of the idea of sleep paralysis before now. Kyo's nightmares will involve flashbacks of when he couldn't bring himself to step in to save Kyoko from getting hit by that car. Her last words to him. That she would never forgive him. His insecurities on never being liked or loved, genuinely, really, because he is the Cat and why would anyone love the Cat? His newly developing feelings for Tohru, in him never being able to tell her, in him being resigned at this point to being locked away. His fear of Akito hurting her or worse because they found out about his feelings for her.]

Camelot - Magical Flu Season

[Kyo, for all that he is generally fit and healthy, that he is strong in his training in martial arts, he is only human. Most of the time. He might be found reverted back to the form of a small ginger cat accompanied by his red and white beads, if he does happen to have it hit him while out and about. And might be setting off his Animal Magic or Blood Magic to others nearby in the process as he either simply tries to rest till he feels up to making his way back home or if anyone comes to visit his place with Tohru and Eri they might find him there resting in his cat form.

Magical Flu Season

[ The weather hasn't been helping much with how often rainy it is, and Amy worries that a lot of people will also get regular sick along with magic sick. An umbrella will probably be a pretty good investment soon.

She was just on her way to find some shelter when she spots the form of an orange cat nearby, and backtracks a little bit. She can't entirely tell if this was a person in an animal form or just a regular cat, but either way they didn't look so good. ]

Hey there, little guy...you okay?

[He hates this. It's bad enough dealing with it back home. Let alone here also having to. Not that it is that bad but all things considered. He still could be better. But him feeling this crappy might just be him being sick making him miserable. He's just frustrated on top of that with transforming like this.

His ears perk as he hears the other, apparently talking to him? He isn't sure still if he can talk like this or not, actually. And probably if he did, he'd just likely end up freaking others out, in public like this. Kyo does at least glance over to her, tilting his head slightly as if questioning. That she needs to ask.]

[ Noticing the feline's expression, she manages a small smile. ] Okay, yeah, stupid question. Sorry.

[ She glances around a little. If this was a regular cat, it might have an owner. But if this was a person, maybe someone who knew them would be around? No one else seemed to be stopping to check on them, though. ]

Should I get you to a vet? Or one of the magic clinics around here? [ She isn't sure if they're strong enough to answer, but if she could get some kind of indication of what she's dealing with here it would be a big help. ]

[Kyo isn't wanting to freak her out or anything. Trying to figure if he should reveal he can understand her. While also trying to figure how to deal with this that he just needs to get back home to rest. Really. If he's getting to this point. He isn't sure if the magic clinic might help, whether he even knew that was a thing before now or not. He tilts his head at the question of going to a vet. Because. Sure he is in cat form but he isn't really a cat, so. No. Probably not. Tohru just figured he was heading out to get supplies or whatever, isn't aware of the situation necessarily to be able to help him out in knowing exactly what was going on and she would immediately recognize him.

He isn't the most energetic, the most enthused with this in general but he does seem to perk up in twitching his ears at the mention of the magic clinics. If he did get her to leave him here, well. It might be awkward with someone else trying to take him somewhere anyway.]

[ She watches him closely, and she notices the recognition at the mention of the magic clinic...or at least, she thinks she does. For someone who is kind of an animal herself, she wishes she was more attuned to animal expressions and body language. But it's really the best she has to go on right now. ]

All right. Is it okay if I pick you up? Then I can take you over to the clinic. [ She's sure by now that this is actually a person and not a regular cat, but she still doesn't want to freak him out by picking him up all of a sudden. ]

[Kyo doesn't look too thrilled. He isn't exactly used to people picking him up and carrying him like this. Well. Unless they're Tohru, but Tohru is not here. So. He guesses it would be quicker and easier for the other to just carry him. As loathe as he is to admit it. His ears droop slightly as he reluctantly approaches a little more. As if reluctantly giving permission. At least she had asked beforehand. Most probably would just pick him up or try pet him or whatever.]

[ Watching him scoot a bit closer, she takes that as the okay and nods. ] All right.

[ Then she carefully scoops him into her arms, gently holding him to her and heading off to find the nearest clinic. ]

Can you tell me your name?

[ Since she assumes that this is a person, she figures they can probably talk. Whether he has the energy to though is another matter. ]
