A. Smashing Pumpkins [Pumpkin Mayhem - Drake/Darkwing]

[At first, Drake Mallard loved the idea of decorating some pumpkins! Nice way to get into the Halloween spirit. So one can join the civilian duck as he paints and/or carves some pumpkins. Of course, most of the designs he uses are based on Darkwing Duck and some of his villains! Join him during the calm before the storm and help him with decorating pumpkins... or when they start to come alive and take the off-duty hero by surprise!

Or later on, after he's made a costume change, Darkwing Duck will do some more patrols of the area and see if anyone else is having any trouble with rogue pumpkins...]

B. Heading Places [Don't Lost Your Head - Darkwing]

[When he hears rumors about the headless horseman, it sounds like a job for Darkwing Duck! ...A particularly scary job, but a job nonetheless!

And so, he ends up showing up to protect some volunteers who are cleaning up bodies in Celliwig. He keeps some distance from the volunteers and watches from the shadows because of his aesthetic. Perhaps someone is staking this out with him, or is one of the volunteers that this duck is trying to protect.

Or skip ahead to when the Headless Horseman makes his entrance, and Darkwing springs into action... starting with his catchphrase, of course!]

I am the terror that flaps in the night!
I am the dental floss that has been dropped into your candy bag!
I am... Darkwing Duck!

C. Beddy or Not [Bunker Down - Drake]

[So what happened at the end of last month sure was depressing! He felt some relief in being able to do his part to help save people from Lestari, but especially as a hero, he feels the punch from all of those that weren't saved elsewhere. So he throws himself into some relief work so that he can do something to help the survivors!

And so Drake can be seen at the woodworking sight, where he tries to help out with constructing some bunk beds. One can catch him in one of several scenarios. Tired out from all of his work, he could end up taking one of the unfinished beds for a trial run by passing out on it. Or he could be seen doing some strange work for one bed, like making the carving of a duck head coming from the foot of a bed, and also several imperfectly-shaped wheels off on the side... is he trying to make a Darkwing Duck racecar bed...?]

D. Wildcard

[Like Darkwing, Kratos had come along to protect people while they cleaned up. Unlike Darkwing, he'd chosen to stay in the open so that the volunteers could easily find him if they needed help. He doesn't even know that Darkwing is there, and since he's keeping his eye out for headless horsemen, he doesn't notice the sneaky masked duck creeping around in the shadows. Not until he hears that ridiculous catchphrase, anyway.

The headless horseman had shown up looking all spooky and threatening, and Kratos was already drawing his sword and starting to approach it when he suddenly hears Darkwing going off. Kratos just stops in his tracks, sword half drawn. He sighs when he realizes that the horseman is completely distracted by Darkwing, and is not at all surprised when it turns suddenly to go find and murder the source of that duckvoice.]

...This is fine, I guess.

[Good luck, Darkwing. Kratos will catch up when he feels like it.]

[His stealth operation is a success! Then of course he jumps out and reveals himself as the horseman approaches. Darkwing spreads out his wings as he watches the horseman heading towards him.]

Come on over here, you crownless cretin! [He pauses a moment as it sinks in, and he starts to feel a bit of fear.] Oh he, he really is coming over here!

[Darkwing leaps to the side, narrowly missing a swing from his sword - and keeping himself from being trampled by the horse. Darkwing glances back towards him and realizes that he doesn't really have a game plan for taking down this headless horseman. Instead, he'll focus on evading and not dying for the moment!]

What did you expect to happen!?

[Kratos doesn't typically lose his temper like that, but Darkwing has a death wish and this is all so goddamn stupid. At lease the daring duck of dipshittery seems to be doing a good job of evading the horrible hooves of the headless horseman's steed, that will probably give Kratos enough time to catch up. Just keep dodging DW, you got this!]

[If there's one thing Darkwing excels at, it's at clinging to life in impossible odds!]

I just expected him to be, I dunno, a bit easier to trick and turn the tables on? N-not so... relentless! [He calls back nervously as he continues to evade the attacks. He can't keep this up forever, but he also is trying to keep up appearances.] Not that this is actually a problem for me or anything! Also when did you get here Kratos.

[That's an invaluable skill to have, my friendo]

...I suppose I can't blame you for that, seeing as he doesn't have a head...

[How does it see? How does it hear? This is some magic bullshit and the horseman is totally cheating!

Once Kratos has closed in a little more, he tries to trip the horse up with his elemental magic, suddenly manifesting a couple jagged spears of rock in it's path. This seems to work and it veers off course, but it doesn't seem ready to peace out just yet.]

I've been here. How long have you been lurking around in the shadows?

Exactly! But I guess headless doesn't mean mindless...

[It's not the most unusual thing for Drake, coming from a world of weirdness, but it still is strange! And hard to think of how to turn the tables on him. As the horse is driven off course, Darkwing takes the opportunity to put some more space between them - and comes towards Kratos instead.

He grins proudly at his quest.]

For quite some time, my friend! Staying hidden is a valuable skill for a being who lurks in the night... [Never mind that he also didn't notice Kratos the whole time. He'll just cling to the pride of having successfully stayed hidden from the man!] Are you here to take on decapitated dastard as well?

Now if we could just work on your volume...

[You have got to stop announcing your presence to everything that wants to kill you, bro.

Kratos had no problem with Darkwing taking cover behind him, he readies his blade and prepares to be a duck's meatshield. This is the turn his life has taken, thanks fate.]

That's why I'm here, yes. Stay sharp, and try not to get trampled.

Wait - did you have trouble hearing me? Don't worry, I can do a lot louder!

[Clearly that's what Kratos must mean by 'volume'!

Kratos does make for an effective meatshield... but Darkwing doesn't want to let him do all the heavy lifting (and get all the glory!) so he has his light magic readied to back him up.]

Your sword has me a bit outclassed in the sharpness category, but I think I'll do just fine! [He quips.] Let's take him on together! It's time for another classic team-up!

That's not what I meant.

[PLEASE LEARN TO STEALTH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Ooo light shields are even better and less messy than meat shields! Good thinking, Duckmeat! Despite the fact that this duck drives him absolutely bonkers, Kratos can't help but chuckle softly to himself. Of course this is how his day would go, but really it could be worse.]

Classic team-up, right. Well, I suppose we have only been successful while working together.

[Darkwing just shrugs at his response. He's not sure what Kratos really means, but he thinks it can't hurt to be louder while fighting the foe! It should help with striking fear into the hearts of foes!

It's just some light back-up!]

Exactly! You know, I don't mean to put you down or anything, but have you ever noticed that you've never been defeated whenever we've worked together? [Yes, because Kratos is clearly the one of the two who needs help...] So we'll take down this guy too!

[As he says that, he fires some blasts of light towards the horseman to try to slow him down!]

Funny, I could have said the same to you.

[Hey DW you ever notice that you've never been defeated whenever we've worked together?? But yes, they will indeed take this guy too. Startled by the blasts of light, the horse attempts to veer off course, and Kratos uses the distraction to trip the horse up. He materializes a few boulders in the horse's path, managing to trip it up and make it rear back on it's hind legs. The rider keeps his ass on the horse, but is clearly off balance.]

So great minds really do think alike! [He'll try to take that as meaning that Kratos agrees with him... he likes to think he's a big help to the human!

In any case, now that the horse is on its hind legs, Darkwing sees this as his chance to strike.]

Good job, now leave this to me!

[With that, he throws himself forward to try to tackle the horseman off of the horse!]

[No, Darkwing. No...

Also. Please don't throw yourself at the horseman. You will surely die. Even so... Kratos doesn't try to interfere just yet. Look, he's morbidly curious about how this will go, okay.]

Of course, there's no way this will end poorly.

[Kratos stop being so irresponsible oh my God]

[Darkwing soon finds that he's not strong or heavy enough to knock the Horseman off the horse with a single tackle! Instead, he ends up grappling with the horseman, trying desperately to make any impact against their enemy.]

Nothing ends poorly... with Darkwing on the job! [He grunts as he continues his struggle.]

Look, I'm... keeping him busy for you! [All part of the plan and not a plea for help, right?]
