It seems like great minds think alike. This Avalon is very different from the one Corwin knew, or any of its shadows that he had been to. One of the first things he did after he got settled was to make his way around the island, learning the lay of the land. When he saw the cliffs, he knew he would return there to see if this gun he arrived with was actually any good.

When he hears the gunshot, he approaches with caution, making sure to stay within the line of sight of the shooter as much as possible so he or she (she, it turns out) won't think he's trying to sneak up on her. Once he's acknowledged, he raises a hand in greeting, his own familiar closing the distance between them before he does, cantering at a leisurely pace.

"Good morning." He gestures towards her firearm, asking, "What have you got there?"
