(With the changing of seasons from summer to fall, it’s getting pretty busy at Helleste Café as it gears up for Fall: they started to serve up seasonal drinks (such as golden, red, and brown sugar lattes) and food (like salmon pasta with pumpkin salad sandwiches, sweet potato fries, roasted turkey panini sandwiches, prosciutto and arugula flatbread, maple pecan cupcakes, hazelnut tarts, and apple parfaits) along with their usual permanent food and drink fare. Baristas are at work as they prepare for the season: making drinks and food, manning the register, and handling customer inquiries. Several of them could be seen wearing fall leaf pins on their aprons while at work.

The leaves of some of the trees that dotted its interiors have even changed colors into vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows (some even would fall gently onto the ground), the cushions on the sofas and armchairs have been swapped out for fall patterns and colors, bright rugs that were used throughout the summer have switched out for ones in fall colors, while the lights themselves changed into a warm amber to compliment the season. Some flowers were nearing the end of their life cycles while others begin to bloom once more, giving off a nice lovely scent to compliment the smell of brewed coffee and baked goods.

Shortly after getting a magic vision correction surgery and a hair cut during the weekend after the Kymbyr quest, Harry has returned to work after a day of rest and plenty of the people have started to notice the new look he has been sporting. To be fair, he does feel a little awkward about people staring at him for no good reason, but honestly, the denizens of Camelot actually give him really sincere compliments; heck, some even congratulated him while giving him tips. While it will take him some time to adjust to it, the change in looks surely give him an extra boost in self confidence that he does need.)

(He immediately sprints off to get the coffee ready. Luckily, the cafe manager has been lucky to get a fresh shipment of the finest coffee beans Avalon has to offer to make coffee drinks for customers to enjoy.

A few minutes later, Harry returns with a cup of freshly brewed coffee on hand and places on the counter for Elza to pick up.)

Here we go, we got lucky to have a good shipment of coffee beans from the farm area today.

[When the batista turned to grab her order, the gunner raised a slender brow. It's that kid.

When he returned with her freshly brewed cup, she reached out to take it while eyeing the kid.

She had never known glasses to be a fashion accessory.]

I just got some vision correction on my eyes some time ago, that’s why I haven’t been wearing them a lot lately.

(He is already expecting people to say something like that since he got his eyes’ vision fixed by now. So yes, he really did ditched the glasses at last. Rose squeaks to the gunner as she hops up and down on the counter in greetings.)

[The explanation was simple and made sense. The fact that this world had such magic was interesting. Vane , perhaps in some ways, but she could see the advantage of correcting vision when it came to losing a weakness in battle.]

Well that seems rather handy. [Bringing the coffee up to her nose to smell the aroma, she watched while Rose bobbed up and down.] She's an excited little thing.

Rose is pretty happy today, I think that she must be in a good mood at the moment.

(The little Pygmy Puff twirls around as she squeaks again. Maybe she has eaten one too many sugary stuff, which may explain her being so hyperactive? Honestly, he couldn’t tell at the moment.)

At least I don’t have to worry about dropping eyeglasses in the middle of a fight or during a quest too often these days.

I can see that. [The fact that the little puff ball was jumping in excitement made that assessment rather obvious. It's probably a reflection of the kid in general.

Taking a sip of her coffee, she was silent for a moment while she assessed the flavours.]

I suppose it has its advantages. Good for you, kid.

(It’s amazing to see that Rose has become a regular fixture in Helleste Cafe since he came to work for them months back and the customers have gotten used to seeing her often. Who couldn’t say no to a charming Pygmy Puff like her?)

Many of the customers here have become accustomed to seeing her a lot in the cafe these days: she’s kinda like this establishment’s unofficial mascot.

[The offer of thanks was heard but not reacted to. Instead she gave a nod of her head at the mention of Rose being the masco. That thing was cute, she supposed, so she could see why others would want to see it.]

Why not make her the official mascot. [There was a light shrug before she tipped the coffee cup in the air a little in acknowledgement.]

It's not half bad. [That was as much of a compliment as she was ever going to give. The customers were beginning to line up behind her, not that she cared about that fact, but she never liked the feeling of having unknown people at her back.

With a casual wave, she turned to leave.] Until next time, kid.

Well, I haven’t thought about it for some time, maybe I should suggest that to the managers and see if they can make her as such. That does sound like a good idea.

(The line is getting rather busy and crowded, but he has gotten used to seeing lines growing like that quite often during peak hours and sometimes he does get engaged to chatting with customers from time to time too, but it is just another day at work.)
