(With the changing of seasons from summer to fall, it’s getting pretty busy at Helleste Café as it gears up for Fall: they started to serve up seasonal drinks (such as golden, red, and brown sugar lattes) and food (like salmon pasta with pumpkin salad sandwiches, sweet potato fries, roasted turkey panini sandwiches, prosciutto and arugula flatbread, maple pecan cupcakes, hazelnut tarts, and apple parfaits) along with their usual permanent food and drink fare. Baristas are at work as they prepare for the season: making drinks and food, manning the register, and handling customer inquiries. Several of them could be seen wearing fall leaf pins on their aprons while at work.

The leaves of some of the trees that dotted its interiors have even changed colors into vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows (some even would fall gently onto the ground), the cushions on the sofas and armchairs have been swapped out for fall patterns and colors, bright rugs that were used throughout the summer have switched out for ones in fall colors, while the lights themselves changed into a warm amber to compliment the season. Some flowers were nearing the end of their life cycles while others begin to bloom once more, giving off a nice lovely scent to compliment the smell of brewed coffee and baked goods.

Shortly after getting a magic vision correction surgery and a hair cut during the weekend after the Kymbyr quest, Harry has returned to work after a day of rest and plenty of the people have started to notice the new look he has been sporting. To be fair, he does feel a little awkward about people staring at him for no good reason, but honestly, the denizens of Camelot actually give him really sincere compliments; heck, some even congratulated him while giving him tips. While it will take him some time to adjust to it, the change in looks surely give him an extra boost in self confidence that he does need.)

Oh hey, Amy. What’s inside the bag right now?

(He is very intrigued to see what Amy has made inside the cellophane bag she is carrying. Rose squeaks in delight as she sees the bag, cranes her head in intrigue, and hops up and down.

I am curious to see what you have made today.

[ Glancing up, she grins a little. ] Hey, Harry! [ Coming around the counter, she unties the bag and opens it up, revealing what kind of looked like orange brownies on top of regular brownies, decorated with a chocolate drizzle on top. ] I made pumpkin cheesecake brownie bars! Wanna try one?

Oh wow, they look really nice. I would love to try one out.

(Rose is also wanting to try out the brownies as well, begging through her squeaking and her wide blue eyes. Harry then picks up one brownie and takes a bite of it. After a while, he is really enjoying it: he has gotten used to have a taste of pumpkin from home in the wizarding community, so he is very familiar with anything pumpkin related.)

Whoa, these taste really brilliant! I really love these already.

[ Amy beams at the compliment. ] Thanks! I'm hoping we can try selling them here! I think they'd go really well with the fall-themed drinks.

[ Because fall without something pumpkiny is just wrong. ]

Yeah, I agree: I’m pretty sure that they’ll appreciate it as an addition of another menu item as well.

(Rose squeaks up in agreement as she twirls around on the counter and her eyes widen up in joy. It looks like she wants to have some of the cheesecake brownies so badly right now.)

Oh Rose, you want to taste some of Amy’s brownies?

[ She giggles, breaking off a piece of one of the bars. ] A whole bar might be too much for you. But here, you can have a little bit.

(Rose still happily squeaks in glee as she sniffs at the piece of brownie Amy is offering to her that she ends up taking it and happily munching it. Harry is pretty happy to see that his familiar is enjoying a bit of the brownie very much.)

Well, she is still enjoying herself. Even her eyes are twinkling in joy today.

[ She claps her hands together. ] Aw thanks! I'm so glad you like it.

[ She offers Rose a little more before giving the rest to Harry. ] Maybe she can have a bit more later.

Yeah, I agree. We don’t want her having a stomach ache from eating a giant brownie for her size.

(He takes the rest of the brownie from Amy and places it onto a napkin on the counter. Rose doesn’t seem to mind as she takes the second smaller brownie piece.)

Exactly. [ Brushing the crumbs from her hands, she then rewraps the rest of them. ] I'm gonna go let the boss give 'em a try, then I'll be back to help out here, okay?

Oh yes, that would be great. I’m pretty sure that they would love to get a taste of the brownies and check them out.

[ She giggles a little. ] Here's hoping!

[ And with a wink, she heads towards the back and disappears. ]

(For a while, Harry goes back to work in manning the cashier once again while Rose helps in retrieving any loose change that may have fallen onto the floor with kinetic magic.

He is hoping that the managers/owners will include Amy’s brownies into the menu as they taste really amazing and her baking skills are just as brilliant too.

[ After several minutes, Amy finally returns, looking quite pleased as she ties her apron over her dress. ]

Guess what we're gonna start serving soon~?

So your brownies have been approved for sale now? That’s really great to hear, Amy. Congratulations!

Thanks! It's just a trial run for now, just to see how quickly we can make them and how they might sell. But it's a start!

In any case, it will be amazing to see the look on the customers’ faces once they get to taste the brownies.

(He quickly gets back to running the cashier for a whole when the next customer sends in the payment transaction via the app for their order and he in turn sends it to the business before he returns to talking to Amy as soon as they head for their seat.)

Yeah! Even if we only sell them for a little while, I can still say that we were able to use something of mine.

[ Amy starts working on the order after it is put in, fixing up one of the seasonal lattes for the customer. ]

Yeah, I agree as well. As one of our co-workers once told me, Teamwork can make anything possible.

(Another customer then asks him for a order of brown sugar latte, which he immediately gets to work on and delivers it to them as soon as he is done with making it.)

[ She giggles. ] Yeah, I definitely agree.

[ More customers start to enter, and Amy works the extra cash register to keep the customers from having to wait too long. ]

(It is getting pretty busy at this time with people lining up and asking orders as Harry takes the orders and passes them to the other staff available to distribute the work load while he is manning the cashier and Rose is making her presence known to the customers with her adorable squeaks.

When they came back with the orders, they passes them to him to deliver them to the customers.)

[ Amy focuses on her work as well, putting together drinks and grabbing pastries from the bake case to give to customers.

It's a lot of work, but it's kind of fun, in a way. ]
