1: Training
[Shadow tended to do this on his own, even making sure that he was the only one at the training grounds while he did it. Since he liked to focus on using his kinetic magic with his own strength, which isn't the most friendly way of training.

Of course, there is also when he is training with someone else, somewhat rare but he'll not say no to anyone who wants to join in. That and he's had a few people ask him to train with them after all.]

2: Lurking
How droll.

[One may find the three-foot-three hedgehog lurking about Camelot, and may find him commenting on something random. Which it could be anything, really, he's got opinions that he rarely gets to express sometimes so why not randomly?

Or maybe you've found him in the open marketplace, looking at various sellers of teas and coffee beans. And being oddly picky about the whole thing.]

3: Wild Card

[ If there's anyone who knows how to find Shadow when he prefer to be alone, it's Rouge the Bat. And that's just what she did, having appeared on a wall overlooking the area, sitting with her legs crossed. ]

[Honestly he shouldn't be surprised that Rouge found him, and he's not. At least not visibly, as he stops what he's doing to look up at her.]

[Any other meaning to what she said is totally lost on him.]

[She hopped down, her Chao flying into view behind her.]

[His chao isn't anywhere nearby so Rouge's chao is going to be on its lonesome, as he steps back to give the batwoman some space.]

[Rouge stared for a moment, before letting out a heavy sigh.]

My apologies if I'm being overbearing. Truth is, I'm a bit lonely myself, and you're the person I'm closest to here, oddly enough.

Hey, Shads!

[ Della cheerfully calls out to him, as she walks into the area. ]

Whooo wants a training buddy? Is it you?

[A cheerful voice, let alone Della's cheerful voice, is unexpected. And since it comes while Shadow is mid-swing at a training dummy? And he is using his magic to bolster his natural strength at the same time? The poor dummy doesn't have a chance and is basically knocked right off its stand and a good few feet away from him, as he is taken off guard by Della being there.

Coughing and not caring that he just broke another training device, he's probably going to have to pay to fix it, he turns his attention to the incoming duck.]

Depends, can you keep up?

[ Della raises her eyebrows at the fate of the poor dummy, but otherwise doesn't seem all that phased. ]

No mercy, eh? Just the way I like it. What kinda magic you got?

[It's probably not the first he's done this too, either.]

Kinetic and Light, yourself?

[He sees no point in hiding what he has, also it's not like he does much with the Light magic, and no point in not asking after Della's magic.]

I've got Kinetic too! And... Dark, actually. Huh. Weird.

[ Between the two of them, she would think HE'd get Dark and and SHE'd get Light. ]

[ Training with Shadow is definitely tough, but honestly Amy has been enjoying the challenge. Balancing that between magic classes and her new job is a bit difficult, but she's had a lot of practice with time and resource management.

She's already dressed in the outfit she's been using for training, but she also has a bag with her as she makes her way to the training grounds. And seeing Shadow, she can't help a grin, glad that she had decided to bring this with her after all. ]

[This time Shadow would be waiting for his partner, since training with Amy tended to be planned ahead of time so that it worked with the younger hedgehog's schedule.

So while he was warming up is when Amy shows up.]

Amy, hello.

[ With a quick jog she reaches where he’s standing, and starts digging into her bag. ]

Before we get started, I have something for you!

[Now normally Shadow isn't a curious sort, unless it's something that really catches his attention, but that bag does grab his eye. So he's giving it a look.]

Something, for me. Why?

Just to, y’know…thank you. For training with me. [ She rubs the back of her neck with one hand as the other pulls out a small pastry box from her bag. ] I know it doesn’t really help you as much as it helps me, since you’re so strong already, so I appreciate you taking the time for me.

[ Hesitating for just a moment, she clears her throat and holds out the box to him. ] Here…it’s not much, but I hope you like them.

[ Through the little cellophane window on the top, he’d see what appears to be one of some chocolate chip cookies. But if he opens the box, he’d be met with a strong coffee aroma. ]

You look like you need a more legitimate challenge than just moving some things around.

[Despite the hat low over his eyes and the blade held reverse-grip at his side, Dust isn't exactly the brooding loner sort -- but a part of him definitely identifies the sort of person who understands a challenge the way that part does. Since that part is a soul of an assassin.]

[Shadow is mid-kick when Dust speaks up, and he's not going to stop just because someone is speaking to him, so the poor dummy is kicked quite low before the hedgehog turns his attention to...

He's not quite sure what he's looking at (sorry Dust) but he won't show anything about that in his expression.]

Is that an offer or just commentary?

[Whereas Dust is quite certain -- because he's met Amy, and this guy is clearly akin to her. And all of them aren't human, of course.]

[The question makes him smile.]

It would've been a dumb thing to say if I didn't intend to do something about it, wouldn't it?

[Everyone has met Amy, it seems. And Shadow is sure that Dust isn't human, but that's about it.]

[He scoffs a little at the answer, that is also a question.]

You'd be surprised how often I run people who enjoy saying dumb things.

I'm pretty good at not doing that when any kind of fighting is concerned.

( Tohru stops when she hears that familiar voice. She remembers Shadow. They spoke briefly over the network and had a bit of a disagreement, but she doesn't have any bad feelings about him by any means. Sometimes... you just can't always agree with someone. The fact that everyone has different points of view is just one of the ways that makes everyone unique from one another.

He seems to be looking over some different teas and coffee. Luckily, Tohru is a bit knowledgeable about tea... Maybe she could help. )

Good afternoon, Shadow. Were you looking for a specific sort of tea?

[He recognizes the voice, remembering her as a young woman that he did have a minor disagreement with. But that didn't matter, because if he had bad feelings about everyone he didn't agree with? He'd have bad feelings all the time.

He turns his attention to Tohru when she speaks to him, a small frown on his face.]

No, not tea. Coffee beans.

Oh! Were you looking to make your own coffee then? How fun!

( It wasn't what she expected, and unfortunately - it isn't something she thinks she can ultimately help with... But, she's willing to try. )

[Best to get any misunderstandings out of the way, Shadow isn't a coffee drinker after all.]
