A Month of Whys?
š§ WHO: Tsuna and you
āļøļø WHAT: The average life of a 15 year old
š WHEN: Throughout September
šŗļø WHERE: Around town
ā ļø WARNINGS: added as necessary
[ A - Why Fire Breathing Sheep?]
[Tsuna often has to remind himself that his life is weird.
He has a two year old hitman for a tutor, he's being bullied into becoming a mafia boss, he's been shot in the head on more than one occasion only be revived by his dying will, he's been transported ten years into the future, and now into a mystical world where he has magic, where he has been for almost a year.
It is often the tiniest straw that breaks a camel's back.
Tsuna stares at the sheep. His hands are covered in thick gloves, he holds a pair of sheers in one hand, he looks singed and smells slightly crispy. The sheep looks at him, placidly, as if it just not open it's mouth an unleash a fire ball.
Tsuna looks like he's about to cry.]
Why....
[ B - Why am I the Damsel?]
[Tsuna is tied to some railroad tracks.
He's not entirely sure where the railway tracks came from or where he is. Really, he's still coming to from being knocked out and is vaguely aware of the metal supporting his neck and his knees.
Above him stands a man in dark clothing, a bandana around his face, covering nose and mouth, and a black ten gallon hat sitting on his head. There's a black horse not too far away and several sacks of what can only assumed to be money. They're burlap with a giant green dollar sign on them.
The man is clearly pleased as he checks all the set dressing.]
Perfect! It looks perfect...oh I wish we could have gotten you a cotton dress but I couldn't find one in your size...
[ C - Why are There Giant Bats?]
[No seriously. Why are there giant bats?
Tsuna was already having a hard enough time trying to gather up the chameleons when he'd been pulled away from the rocks by a bat the size of a person. Of course, upon seeing the bat, Tsuna had more or less fainted.
And now he's trapped.
Having come too he can take stock of the situation. He's not alone with about three kids and a dog. And while he's freaking out himself he's trying to stay calm for the kids.
If he sees someone coming, he'll try throwing a rock or something down to them.]

But the question is: how can he blend into the wild west setting the man is going for? He goes to the local costume store and asks if there is a western inspired costume for him to wear. Sadly, there arenāt many cowboy clothes in his size for him to wear but the store owner reveals the she has a preacher costume for him to borrow.
Oh well, better make the most of it. And with him no longer needing glasses after his recent makeover, he can pull this off, so he changes out of his clothes, slips into the preacher costume and he teleports behind some barrels, waiting for the right moment to strike.)

There's the occasionally protest from the Cult Classics man, who insists that Tsuna stop it. He nervously checks his phone, waiting to see if the post he made on social media has any takers. He needs his cowboy hero after all.]
no subject
And instead of a cowboy hero he was expecting, he got himself a guy in a mid-19th century priestās outfit standing in front of him and giving him dagger eyes in dismay. Before the guy could say a thing, Harry causes the ground to seize up in ice, causing him to slip and land on his behind while he teleports away to the train tracks Tsunaās tied up at. He better free him quickly before the man tries to tie Harry to the tracks too.)
Sorry Iām late, Tsuna. I had to find something time period accurate to fit into the setting.
no subject
Oh...okay...just, he tied the ropes really tight so untie me please.
[Meanwhile, the Cult Classics man is getting up.]
Man, what is this? Didn't you read the social media post? You were supposed to be dressed as the sheriff! How else are we supposed to do a shoot-out? Haven't you even seen the movie?
no subject
(He said that to the Cult Classic guy before he sends the guy flying towards to a pile of boxes through kinetic magic to give him a hard time trying to get up. Clearly, Harry didnāt have luck in watching many films often between being raised by horrible relatives and studying in a magical boarding school.
He goes back to Tsuna as he tries to free him from being stuck on the train tracks. And it is also a good thing that he has kinetic and elemental magic by his side to free Tsuna from the tracks.)
Luckily, I can either untie the ropes with my mind or burn the ropes right now. So which option do you want me to go with?
no subject
Tsuna looks a bit panicked at either option.]
Whatever one you're better at....I just want off these tracks.
no subject
(While CC is complaining about the boxes as he tries to get up, Harry immediately starts untying Tsuna through kinetic magic: carefully unravelling the knots as he goes.
Rose, who is hiding inside his costumeās pocket, assists him in the process, but what about Hedwig, you may ask? She is actually hiding among the tree branches as she awaits the moment to attack. Harry has to got to admit: CC really did took his time to make those rope knots very tight that it took him a while to sort it out. But he is still able to untie the ropes wrapping Tsuna though and he is about to be done with the last knot too.)
Okay, Iām almost thereā¦

A!
Sawada? Is that you?
no subject
Oh, hi Shinsou-kun. Yeah, it's me.
no subject
[ Because the alternative, closer to what he actually saw, sounds weird even by his standards. ]
no subject
The sheep breathe fire.
[His breath hitches slightly after saying that. Like he's struggling with the whole concept.]
no subject
But... you have Elemental magic.
[ This is the weird part he can't seem to get over. ]
Can't you redirect the fire? Or... protect yourself with a water shield maybe?
[ Anything? ]
no subject
It's just a sheep.
[He could have done those things, if he was expecting them.]
B
[Gokudera would kill this man for tying his boss to some railroad tracks. As dramatic as the bomber is, the tracks could literally not go anywhere, there could be no train even existing in Avalon, but Gokudera is enraged. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a knife, flicks it open, then turns it to slide it beneath the ropes, twisting so its edge faces up before he slides it forward and up, cutting one out of the many wrapped about his boss.
Who cares about money? That guy can eat it for all the bomber cares.]
Tenth, you want me to kill that guy?
[Offering without hesitation because he will do that.]
no subject
[It is very uncomfortable and every vibration he feels makes him nervous. The Cult Classics Man looks nervous in the meantime.]
Okay, okay, knives...knives I can deal with that. Guess it's not this movie. One moment!
[And he rushes away.]
no subject
Alright, Tenth.
[He works more on those ropes, cutting them one by one with swift saws of the knife. Then, he's tucking the knife away and grabbing Tsuna by the shoulders to pull him off the tracks and keep him close, looking around.]
Are you hurt?
[And he moves to stand up carefully, offering his help to his boss to stand and move away from the tracks. Clearly, he's on edge, but... gotta play it cool since now the Tenth is relatively in the clear.
Once the boss is okay, out comes the dynamite.]
We can't just let him get away.
no subject
[He probably shouldn't have mentioned that, given that Gokudera's reaction. But at the same time, he'd be okay with catching the guy.
He's about to respond when there's a puff of smoke and the Cult Classics Man has returned. This time, dressed as a Ninja.]
Alright! I'm ready for you now! Take this!
[The man reaches behind his back and pulls out a number of kunai and shurikan and tosses them at Gokudera and Tsuna. At this distance, it's hard to tell how real they are.]
no subject
[WHACKED him?! He hit the Tenth, and Gokudera wasn't around to stop him. The bomber moves back and bows low.]
I'm sorry I didn't show up earlier Tenth! I'll make it up to you however you see fit-
Stay back!
[Taking a bold step in front of Tsuna to take any hits for him (even though the weapons could be fake. Who knows? He's not taking any chances). Gokudera pulls out a few sticks of dynamite and growls before lighting them with his cigarette.]
Any last words?
[Those dynamite sticks are very real and hissing.]
no subject
The kunai clatter around them, solid but clearly props and not actual weapons.
Mr. Classics looks briefly concerned at the hissing dynamite but seems to shake it off as his bravado pushes through. He pulls out a small blade.]
I'll cut off those fuses before they explode! Have at thee!

But Tsuna has not escaped her notice, with his giant gloves and the shears, and the eyes that look glassy with what could easily be tears.]
Look outā!
[And when his sheep opens its mouth like it's about to breathe fire, she jumps for it and picks it up in both of her hands like it's a bomb and holds it so that it faces the wall andā]
"BEHHHH!"
[Oh.
That was the quietest, most unthreatening bleat she's ever heard.]
no subject
When he seems to accept that he might be free, he breathes a sigh of relief. And suddenly feels very tired.]
Ah, thank you, Tifa-san.
It, kind of caught me off guard.
that icon š poor kid
[The sheep bleats a tiny sound again, but this time, it burps out a tiny fireball the size of her pinky nail. She sets it down, but her hands remain on its round, wool body should she need to pick it up and turn it away at any moment.]
Some of them are a little more anxious than others, I find. You just gotta know the right ways to calm them down.
[Seeing how distressed Tsuna looks, she hopes that an encouraging smile will at least help...]
being Tsuna is suffering
I thought was calm but I guess I spooked it.
[He sighs. He supposes he gets it.]
What would you suggest?
no subject
Her hand digs into her pockets, and she pulls out a small bag of greens that it seems to take interest in.]
Before I got here, I went and found some stuff I figured they might like. Clovers from outside the city walls, mostly, but... here.
[She takes a small handful and offers it to Tsuna.]
This should do the trick.
no subject
[But he'll take the offered clover, and after a few deep breathes to both calm down and psyche himself up, he kneels down and offers the greens to the sheep. Tentatively, and he might have a hand raised just in case.]
H-here.
