Aurora had never met a dog. She had, of course, encountered wolves in the forest, but wolves and dogs were not the same. Sitll, she pressed a hand to her lips and hoped neither of them would regret this. She reached out and lightly patted his head.
"You're being a very good boy," she soothed. This had to be one of the strangest experiences of her life... and she had lived with three faeries in the woods. But as she did not wish to throw a stick on a ROOF and cause either of them to slip and fall, while she noticed the movement at the stick, they would have to wait to be on more solid ground.
She stood up, putting the stick in hand.
"Come here, dear. We'll play on the ground," she offered. She had played with wolves before, she supposed it was the same principle.
