It's finally here, the promised day of the fundraiser. Anyone who walks past the shiny and new Kaika Theatre will notice the makeshift stalls set outside, hosting a veritable smorgasboard of foods and drinks. ... Okay. Mostly it's a lot of cupcakes, plates of curry bread (both vegetarian and not, at all spice levels) and a mixture of cold and hot drinks options. While all of this is available for individual purchase, there's also a sign next to the curry bread stall that proclaims CHALLENGE MODE: CURRY ROULETTE. If you're feeling brave, grab a few friends and try the randomly assorted platter of curry bread, and try to avoid the extra spicy option.

Whether you just drop by for a bite to eat or stay a while and chat, or ask for a tour of the theatre, remember that all proceeds go to helping the newly formed Kaika Theatre afford everything they need in order to put on their first, sure to be unforgettable, show here in Camelot.

Of course, if you're a little more interested in being a star, or maybe just helping in the creation of a fantastic play, you can drop by a few days later when Kaika Theatre holds open auditions! They're nothing terrifying — all you have to do is provide your name and show some passion for theatre, and Izumi will welcome you with open arms. No experience required, just dedication and hard work. But once that's all over, you can hang around and talk with the current Kaika members in order to get a better idea of what you're in for.

That's quite right. [He confirms that with a nod.] It's one big difference in how it's done!

Heh. If you want to, go for it! I mean, right now you seem busy with the theater and everything, but maybe when things quiet down! Just let me know if you get a part in something, I'll be dying to see it! ...And also be available for expert advice when you're filming, free of charge!

[ Usually, Tsumugi is the one quietly guiding and supporting his fellow actors. Not that he's invincible, or some super actor that doesn't need help from anyone - it just sort of happened, by virtue of his leadership role, years of experience, and ability to listen to others. (also, he knows they have his back in other ways.)

So to have the tables turned on him like this, in a time and place he never would've expected... well. It makes him happier than words can describe. ]

I'll have to see what's out there! Admittedly, I'm not sure what sort of opportunities are available here... but if I find something, I'll be sure to let you know. And I'll definitely ask for your help. [ He's, of course, also thinking about that acting hiatus Drake mentioned. Maybe the right role would bring him back to the world of acting? (if only he realized how funny this train of thought is...)

[He certainly strikes Drake as a responsible young man! It feels like the younger generation has what they need to succeed... even if he inwardly shrivels at having to refer to others as the 'younger generation'.]

I'm happy to help out a fellow actor! It can be good to branch out and try out something different every now and then. [Like actually becoming a role in real life!] So I'm sure it will be a helpful experience.

[His life as Darkwing Duck is his first priority... but being here and talking to this actor makes him nostalgic, so he does feel an increasing want to help them all out.]

And, while I might not be ready to join your ranks, I'm open to helping out here and there where I have the time. If you need an extra hand or someone to stand in for a line reading or something, you can just drop me a line, and I'll come if I'm able to!

[ It really is a shame that Drake won't join them formally - Tsumugi has a feeling that standing on stage with him would be so fun - but his willingness to help them makes him just as happy. ]

That's very kind of you. Thank you. [ But... ] I don't want to take advantage of that kindness, though. Is there anything I could do in return?

[Maybe someday... He already feels compelled to help him out where he can, and that can possibly escalate over time!]

I don't know. [He doesn't want to ask much of a fledgling group that's trying to raise money.] If there's some free food available, that should be enough to satisfy me!

If you're sure that'll be enough, then I'll grab something for you on the way out. [ Hopefully he likes curry buns!

For now, though, he leads them out of the practice room and to their final destination: the stage. While there's nothing really out of the ordinary in the space, its potential is what's important. In time, their humble little company will stand upon this stage with its new members and perform for audiences they never could've even dreamed of.

He invites Drake to stand center stage with him, though he's more than welcome to decline if he so wishes. Either way, he continues. ] I realize that I never actually introduced myself... My name is Tsumugi Tsukioka. It's been a pleasure to meet you.

Ooh, thanks, that would be great! [He's not picky. He'll take what he can get!

As they reach the stage, Drake takes a moment to breathe in the air nostalgically.]

Ah, the stage! This is where it all happens...

[He then looks towards Tsumugi with a smile.]

The pleasure's all mine - Tsumugi? I'm Drake Mallard.
