It's finally here, the promised day of the fundraiser. Anyone who walks past the shiny and new Kaika Theatre will notice the makeshift stalls set outside, hosting a veritable smorgasboard of foods and drinks. ... Okay. Mostly it's a lot of cupcakes, plates of curry bread (both vegetarian and not, at all spice levels) and a mixture of cold and hot drinks options. While all of this is available for individual purchase, there's also a sign next to the curry bread stall that proclaims CHALLENGE MODE: CURRY ROULETTE. If you're feeling brave, grab a few friends and try the randomly assorted platter of curry bread, and try to avoid the extra spicy option.

Whether you just drop by for a bite to eat or stay a while and chat, or ask for a tour of the theatre, remember that all proceeds go to helping the newly formed Kaika Theatre afford everything they need in order to put on their first, sure to be unforgettable, show here in Camelot.

Of course, if you're a little more interested in being a star, or maybe just helping in the creation of a fantastic play, you can drop by a few days later when Kaika Theatre holds open auditions! They're nothing terrifying — all you have to do is provide your name and show some passion for theatre, and Izumi will welcome you with open arms. No experience required, just dedication and hard work. But once that's all over, you can hang around and talk with the current Kaika members in order to get a better idea of what you're in for.

Oh! [ He visibly perks up. Even though he anticipated it (of course he'd meet theater people, this is a theater fundraiser), he can't contain his delight over meeting a fellow actor. ]

How long have you been acting? If you don't mind me asking.

Since I was a kid pretty much. Took a break when I was thirteen, but picked it up again after a year away.

[That's a good way to put 'I ran away from home and explored a continent', right?]

I see...! It seems we have something in common, then. [ Both in acting since childhood, and taking a break at some point only to return later. Though Tsumugi's was at an age much older than thirteen, and for less exciting reasons...

Regardless. He offers his hand for a shake. ] Sorry for the late introduction. My name is Tsumugi Tsukioka. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Oh yeah? Did you decide to adventure around the continent too? [Because that's the obvious similarity, right? Not the age.]

[Accepting his hand, he gives it a good shake.] Don't worry about it. The name's Zidane... Tribal, if last names really matter. Looking forward to performing again if everything works out!

[ Tsumugi laughs, good-natured. ] While that sounds like fun, that isn't quite what I meant. I've also been acting for most of my life, and took a break at a point for, um... personal reasons. [ He's no longer quite so ashamed of it, but it's not something he wants to dump on an unsuspecting stranger, either. ]

I can assure you, you'll have no problem passing our auditions. To us, passion is more important than how much experience you have. Though that's not to say that your experience won't be valued.

Hey, no problem. We all got our reasons for needing to step off stage. [It's nothing he's going to ask about now, but another time? Probably.]

Good to know. Though, if it helps, I'm best at any action scenes or stunts that need to be performed.

[ He's grateful Zidane's not pressing more, at least at the moment. ]

That's definitely helpful to know. We have plenty of experience putting on action-oriented plays, so I'm sure you'll probably feel right at home. [ Even he's done a staged fight! ... Singular. His gentle, subtle acting doesn't lend itself well to throwing punches and the like, unfortunately. ]

[Gosh, they were going to have to do a few more staged fights then. And with magic, the special effects were going to be great!]

Huh, I guess the most important would be what're we putting on first? Also, what's the practice schedule? I take on quests sometimes, but I can work on memorizing the script while taking care of things.

[OOC: Sure! Shall I put Tsumugi as the one to refer him?]

Honestly, I'm not too sure... but I know our scriptwriter, Tsuzuru-kun, has started brainstorming ideas. And I imagine he'll want to get to know all of the new actors before writing your characters. [ It might not be usual, but he thinks it's part of the charm of their plays, the way Tsuzuru writes their roles for them specifically. ]

As for a schedule, we usually practice in the evenings, since many of us have work or school during the day. But that might change, depending on what we're all involved in. Things are quite different here, so we'll have to adapt accordingly.
