⚔️️ WHAT: After the Animal Mage Hunt last month, Della is throwing a small shindig to help them all relax. Food, games, face paint, and awkward questions for everyone. You don't have to be an animal mage/animal person to come, everyone's invited!

🗺️ WHERE: Brocéliande, a.k.a the local forest.

Delightful Decorations
Do you miss your ears and tail from the temporary spell the month before? There’s a box to slightly cure that! It’s filled with fake animal decorations including cat-ear headbands, fluffy fox tails to clip on your pants, feathery wings to hang on your shoulders, and so on. If you’re feeling a bit more colorfully creative, there’s also face paint! Pick a partner to practice on!

Food Festivities
What’s a party without grub? There’s a big wooden table surrounded by little wooden chairs so you can get your snack on. In keeping with the theme, there are cookies shaped like cat-heads, sandwiches cut to resemble webbed duck feet, and plenty of veggie platters for those who feel they can’t eat what they resembled for a while. At least the tea is normal. Feel free for your character to have brought along their own food to share as well!

Games Galore
Why sit around when you can get some exercise? The easy to play Pin The Tail On The Griffin, where you’re blindfolded and have to pin the tail on the paper griffin on a tree… and hopefully no one else. Or make Tag way more exciting by trying to grab one of the fake tails from earlier off of your friend’s butt! Since you’re in the woods, there’s also a contest to see who can climb trees the fastest! The prize is bragging rights. And maybe a cupcake.

AMA - Animal Edition
Let’s face it -when you’re surrounded by all kinds of new species, you get curious. Here’s your chance to clear the air and learn something new – there’s a big red chair with a label on the back – ASK ME ANYTHING. Anyone who sits in it is volunteering to answer whatever is asked of them. Of course, there’s no guarantee it’ll be the truth… you trolls know who you are.

As a reminder, according to our lovely locations page, “It is cautioned against magic in these woods, as the mystical forces within tend to interfere and cause them to go awry.” We definitely wouldn’t want that happening, wink wink nudge nudge.

Yep, I actually did. It did took me a while to bake plenty of them with just one oven, but I was able to pull through and get them done on time.

Are you still at the inn? There definitely isn't enough baking room in the apartments. [ She takes a bite of the brownie, and hey Harry might learn that hedgehogs actually wag their tails when their happy. ] Mmm...! This tastes great!

Well, I have been living on my own in a studio flat since July, so I haven’t been living in the inn for a good while now.

(He is quite grateful for the inn stay, but he knows that eventually he needs to move out of there at some point and he doesn’t want to be a burden to the people running it in the end, so he moved out in the end.)

Oh yeah? Nice! I need to earn a bit more before I can move out of the inn, but I'd love to have a place of my own.

That is really nice to hear: finding a new place to live in does have a lot of benefits to enjoy. And it is near my current workplace so I don’t have to worry about the commute to work in Helleste Cafe.

(He could’ve swore that he was blushing in amazement when Amy tastes her brownie and congratulates him for a job well done.)

Oh, that's really convenient! Is it close enough that you can head home during your breaks?

[ She finishes the rest of her brownie and takes a quick sip of her drink before pulling a plate of cute little treats closer. ]

(Harry picks one from Amy’s box and bites into it. Oh wow, these really taste good and he is really enjoying it a lot. Rose squeaks as to say that she wants to have some as well.)

Wow! These taste really great. Amy, you’re really brilliant in baking stuff. Oh, and I think that Rose wants to try some of the cream puffs as well.

[ Picking up another cream puff, she holds it up to Rose. ] Of course you can have one, Rose! Although, is it okay for her to have chocolate?

Oh, she can eat anything very well. Pygmy Puffs are not like many animals from my world.

Well, that is really nice, Amy. That does sound like a great plan.

Oh okay! [ She lets Rose have the other creampuff and gently pets the Pygmy Puff. ] And thanks! Though it might be a bit difficult because I like traveling and going on adventures too.

That sounds a lot like fun, I have done a lot of adventuring around the forests while I have free time or if I have a quest to do.

(Rose happily munches on her cream puff as she squeaks in delight and enjoys the petting Amy is giving her.)

(The little Pygmy Puff squeaks to him happily before she resumes her eating of the cream puff.)

[ She giggles, more than happy to give Rose more pets. ] I haven't gotten much of a chance to really explore this place much yet. I'm hoping to when I get a bit more settled with things.

[ Mostly with managing her schedule between working and classes before picking up a quest or two. ]

Well, hopefully whenever the both of us have free time and everything has been settled down, maybe we can check out the forested area and see what this place has to offer.

(Harry is feeling more confidant in his new life even after all the trouble he has to go through for months that he has become slowly more familiar with Avalon’s land.)

Yeah, I hope so as well, Amy. The forests in here has a lot of wildlife and many Fae living in there; as long as we don’t get them angry at us, we should be okay.

I have accompanied a friend of mine to one while we tried to find her fairy friend a few months ago.

Oh wow, really? Did you ever get to meet any of the fae there?

I did meet a couple of fae and pixies during the Winter Solstice: apparently they told me to sprinkle some magical water onto a rock and I got one of my good memories as the result, though that practise did led to a wild weather problem afterwards.

As for the pixies, I found myself dancing with a couple of them after I accidentally stepped on a fairy circle and got shrunk.

Well, it sounds like things with them are never boring at least.

But how did that lead to the weather problems?

A lot of people sprinkled the magical fountain water onto a magical rock called Merlin’s Step and, because there were so many people trickling water at the rock, it caused the weather to act up and woke up the Black Knight. The Fae has a tendency to not tell the whole story behind things sometimes.

Huh...that's kind of...negligent. And a bit dangerous.

I agree, that does sound a little terrible when you are just given very little information on a ritual you are not familiar with before trying it out and not knowing of the crazy things that could possibly happen.

(He couldn’t get over that winter thunderstorm that plagued Camelot for hours and how everyone had to seek shelter in cellars and waited in there for hours until a few volunteers step in to get the Black Knight’s sword.)

Morganna did sent us an apology on behalf of the fae with the help of the Lady of the Lake and she had instructed us to retrieve the Black Knight’s sword so she could restore the weather back to normal.

Very rarely so far. I do know that the people of Celliwig did gave us all the information about the Summer Solstice ritual before we started it which is a good thing, though the spirits attacking people on the bridge part was out of their control.

Apparently, them allowing us to enter their city after a few months was a big no-no to those angry spirits.
