Quest | Cult Classic
She tailed him for a while, watching as he went through what seemed to be a script. She paused at the edge of a building to watch him for a moment, taking a page from Kaeya before just jumping in.]
I wonder what he's doing... it's as if this is something he's read... or seen before.

[The young man who approaches Jean will be Kotarou dressed up in a grey cloak with a long wooden stick in his hand. If they were going to beat a roleplayer, then he figured that it'd be best to fight fire with fire. He waves his wooden stick at Jean in a rather melodramatic fashion.]
Before we go in to catch this guy, you should tell me a little bit about the magic that you can use.
Pizza with Jean | Open
She arrived one day with ingredients for her favorite pizza, chatting with the people around as she worked on the recipe before throwing the final product in the oven.
After it was the perfect golden brown, she pulled the pizzas out, realizing she'd probably made a bit too much. Setting them on a nearby table, she chuckled.]
Well, I made a bit too much, but at least there are some people around to share with.

As he enters, his attention is immediately drawn to where Jean is with several pizzas on a table in front of her. However, Dimitri has never once seen a pizza in his entire life, so he doesn't know what they are, or what to think of them. Curious, he approaches, and notices that he's facing someone he met once -- back at the solstice festival.]
What kind of a dish is this? I've never seen one before.
no subject
It's called pizza. This one is specifically the Mushroom variety. It's something I made a lot back at home.

[He takes a closer look at it now that he's right in front of the table. It does look interesting, and if he's not mistaken, that's cheese on top. He may have lost his sense of taste, but he still enjoys the textures of certain foods, cheese being chief among them.]
It looks to me to be cheese and mushrooms set atop bread. Is that right?
no subject
When you get right down to it, yes. There's also a tomato based sauce and spices involved. Together it tastes like a bit more than just cheese and mushrooms atop bread.
Have you never had pizza before?
no subject
[He takes another look at it. It looks appetizing, at least. If only he could taste...]
May I have some?

[She cuts the pizza and puts a few slices on the plate.]
If you want to find a table, I'll come join you after I finish cutting these.

[Dimitri goes to the counter and gets a glass of water, then takes a seat at a nearby table. Unfamiliar with how to eat pizza, he ends up taking the fork and knife from the place setting and cutting the pizza into bite-sized chunks.
The texture of the pizza ends up being exactly what he expected, and pretty satisfying. There's a slight crispiness to the bread, and the feeling of the cheese and sauce in his mouth is interesting.]
no subject
Ah, yes, you did say you haven't had pizza before.
It's quite appropriate to eat it with your hands.
[And as if to demonstrate, she picks up one of her slices and proceeds to take a bite.]
no subject
[Dimitri watches Jean pick up and take a bite from one of her slices with curiosity. He then imitates what he watched with minimal difficulty. There was something satisfying about just taking a bite straight from the slice, and how the crust broke under his teeth.]
I see. This is more enjoyable than with a knife and fork.

[She laughs]
See, it's much better.

Do you spend a lot of time cooking?
no subject
Whoa!! Did you make these all by yourself?!
no subject
Yes, I did. It seems I got a bit carried away in the end.
no subject
[ he's quick to ask, mostly because they look so delicious. naoto has a hopeful glint in his eye. ]
I'll pay if I have to!
no subject
[She smiles]
I made too much for one person.
no subject
So good!! Do you mind sharing your recipe? I don't think I've ever had this kind... [ the japanese palate might be wild, but naoto's japan had much simpler tastes. ]
