[Misery loves company, so in a way it's a consolation that Gokudera isn't the only poor soul who's looking back on several awful multiverse trips... but that really is only the first step, and Hijikata is pretty much as directionless as him when it comes to handling trauma. But even he, stubborn as he is, knows that it'd be pointless to just grit one's teeth and push forward blindly. This sort of thing needs finesse.]
Shoto's a good boy, very sincere... but you know best what type of person you can work with most effectively. If there are other fire mages you already know well they might be the best first address.
[He lets more cigarette smoke rise up, musing over what exactly might be a good starting point.]
Well, I'm one too, but I've got to say that I'm out of my depth here. My first thought is that if I were you I'd want to make sure I feel fully in control of my fire, so I'd probably focus on practical training. If you can't do that, and if you ultimately just want the fire gone, then remember that little plant we got at the spring equinox. When it bears fruit and you eat it there should be a fifty-fifty chance of which of your magic classes gets realigned.
