[1] Soaking In Your Arrival

[ So... something to know about Eri... she hasn't had the chance to ever learn how to swim. She's six, so considering how the majority of her life has been, swimming wasn't exactly something she could ever really begin to think about.

So... Avalon's preference in dropping it's arrivals into water right at the start is... not the best for this poor six year old. She's plopped rather unceremoniously into the water, and... ]

A-Ah! H-Help!!

[ There's a lot of kicking and flailing, but since she can't swim, it doesn't do much to keep her head above water. Fortunately, the pillow jellies are here to save the day as they lift her above water again. ]

E-Eh... w-where am I...?

[ The glowing pillow jellies start to float up, creating a path that she can easily hop across... but that still doesn't answer any of her questions, and she's a little scared. Wasn't she just at UA just a second ago? What's happened? Where is everyone?

You might spot the soaked girl from the shore as she eventually decides that sitting here on the pillow jelly won't get her anywhere, so she starts to hop across each jelly, one at a time. She's got both of her arms out so that she can balance herself with each hop, almost falling over a few times, but managing to right herself. Of course, this does mean that she's making pretty slow progress. ]

[2] The Red Spring

[ Unfortunately, she'd taken a bit too long to get onto shore, and so the earthquake hit while she was still on the jellies. The result? There's a part of her face around her left eye (along with some of her hair) that got sprayed by one of them, and now that area of skin (along with that part of her hair) has ended up getting dyed blue until she can wash it off.

Except... she has no idea what to do next. ]

Um... ah...

[ There's just... a small child now standing in the lobby not sure what to do next. She'd gotten on the caravan to get here and all, but... she's six. What do you mean two to a room? What rooms? Also, she needs a bath to get this weird blue stuff off of her...

So now there's just... a small girl on the verge of tears off to the side of the lobby. Where are her friends? Where are the people she recognizes? Why won't this blue stuff come off no matter how hard she rubs? What's all this talk about magic? Why is this happening to her? ]

[3] Cool Carnival, Bruh

[ Despite the not-so-great method of arrival... this is fun! It's unbearably hot, but there's so many sweet things to try that just so happen to be cold! The only thing that'd make it all better would be if they had Candy Apples, but stuff like the Shaved Ice, the Ice Cream, and the 'new recipes' of frozen slush will do!

Speaking of the new recipes... yeah, Eri's had some, and... well, it's had the exact effect that it's having on everyone else. Behold, Penguin Eri-chan!

Which... isn't exactly too much of a difference aesthetically, but she is walking around with her arms straight down her sides but at an angle... and she's even waddling a bit! All in all, it's not that big of a change, but she is definitely looking at that slip'n'slide. ]

[4] Summer Fever!

[ Even though she doesn't have her quirk anymore... she wants to help people! Just like Deku and Lemillion helped her! As such, when she found out she had healing magic, she was thrilled! She was even more thrilled when she found out that healers were needed in... in a quest?

Well, in any case, this small child has volunteered at the closest medical center to help out! Of course, she's only being given simple tasks because everybody looks at this little girl and thinks that her wanting to help out is adorable... but she's also six years old. Still, for a little girl, she's incredibly insistent, so... ]

Here! An apple!

[ Eri has now become something of a pure bundle of joy and light as she trots around the place, going up to patients with the Summer Fever and asking them if they're okay ~~and instantly curing any bad feelings because of how adorable this small child is.~~ She's giving them fruits, giving them encouragement, and if they're feeling really bad... they get a little bit of healing magic to make them feel a little better.

Frankly, there are a few times where she's carrying a basket of apples and she starts to tilt a little too far to one side and everyone in the room collectively holds their breath... and lets out a relieved exhale as she regains her balance and continues doing her best. She doesn't seem to notice, and she just keeps on going. ]

[Robyn is also working with patients, since she has healing magic and needed a chance to practice it. She thought she was the youngest person helping out here, but clearly that isn't the case. Like everyone else, she'd been holding her breath when Eri almost spilled that basket of apples, and of course she was relieved when that didn't happen.

Later on, she sees Eri still carrying the apples, though when she approaches she tries not to break the younger girl's concentration.]

You're doin' a good job with those. [Really, she means it.]

Ah, thank you!

[ She's definitely doing her best! There are also plenty of teddies that can be handed out, but apples are her favorite fruit... and who doesn't like apples? Plus, practice at Healing Magic was another bonus for her. She doesn't have her quirk here, so she can't use it for good like she'd wanted... but she can still do something with her magic here, right? ]

Are you helping as well?

I've got healin' magic, so I'm helpin' out with that. Along with anythin' else that needs doin'.

[In Robyn's mind, that beats being ordered to work in the scullery back home. She likes doing different jobs every month, since here she isn't expected to do the same thing day in and day out for the rest of her life.]

Aah! You have Healing Magic too?

[ She turns herself fully around to face Robyn, her eyes suddenly wide and practically glimmering with childlike wonder. ]

I-I have healing magic! I wanted to help out, but...

[ She suddenly looks a little down, pouting slightly. ]

I can't do much with it yet...

[ Granted, it was much easier than controlling her quirk. It wasn't like stepping on the gas pedal and not being able to take your foot off, it was much less... crazy, if that describes it well enough. Rewind was a dangerous power, and she'd only just started learning to control it, and only because she had Eraserhead to erase her quirk if it started getting out of control... and unfortunately, it would.

In contrast, just be being something that Eri can willingly turn on and off makes magic a much easier thing to use... but at the same time, she's still learning how to use it in the first place. ]

It's alright. I'm still learnin' how to use mine, too.

[She can at least heal minor scrapes so far, though helping out with the summer fever has been a little more difficult.]

Since we're both workin' here, we could always learn together, right?

M-Mm! Yeah!

[ She brightens up, smiling again. Yeah, she just needs to practice and learn, like Deku said! She may not have her quirk, but... she can still help people with the abilities she's been given here.

Still, she hasn't been able to do much with her healing yet... well, she can heal minor scrapes obviously, but only after focusing on it for, well, a fairly long time, and at that point you may as well just walk it off. ]

Good! We can help each other out while we're here, then.

[That seems like a fair enough arrangement.]

I'm Robyn. What's your name?

[ She nods, happy with the arrangement as well. They could help each other! Perfect! ]

I'm Eri!

[ She gives a big smile, hoisting up the basket of apples with a 'hup...!' ]

I'm sure they will. A lot of people like apples, I know I do. And they're good for bakin' with.

[Robyn's learned about quite a few more things you can do with apples ever since she got here and tried new foods.]

Baking?

[ She knows what baking is, of course. Back home at UA, Sato would always be baking different things like cake and whatnot, after all. But apples in baking? That was new to her. ]

You can bake apples?

Of course! You can make things like apple pie, apple tarts, apples in wine sauce and cream...and I bet there's even more ways they have here to bake with them. They can make any pastry taste good.

[ You can practically see the drool running out of the corner of Eri's mouth now. Apples are her favorite fruit! HOW COULD ALL OF THIS BE HIDDEN FROM HER!? It sounds delicious! Well, not that she knows what most of them are, but apple-flavored pastries? She needs them all now. ]

Aah... apple sweets...

[ ...no she's not going to wipe away the drool, she's sort of in a trance now. ]

[Well, that sure is a positive reaction. This girl clearly likes apples a lot.]

I know a bakery that has some. We can go there after we're finished workin', if you like.

[But then Robyn realizes that Eri is most likely a good deal younger than her.] Er, if that's alright with whoever you're stayin' with.

Mm! Okay, I'll ask them!

[ She is, of course, staying with everyone from home. She's not just on her own, after all. Still, that means that her actually going with anyone is technically not really up to her.

Still, she's gonna go to a bakery and get as many apple-based treats as possible no matter what! ]

Well, it's good that you're stayin' with someone. Are they from the same place as you?

[Nobody from Robyn's world has come here yet. With her father not being here, things felt different at first since she's so used to sharing living space with him, but over time she's become more self-sufficient. It helps that she's already learned a lot about hunting from him, and at least she has Merlyn.]

Mm, a whole bunch of them! They all found me and brought me to where they were staying when I got here...

[ Mind you, swapping between them. All of the girls lived together, but Deku lived with Bakugou. The girl were more equipped to take care of her, but she wanted to stay with her hero as well... and hence the compromise was made, plopping her into the custody of the girls for the majority of the week, and into Deku's hands for the rest of it. ]

So you're all livin' together? That sounds nice. Kind of like a pack.

[That last part sort of slips out. She can't help but think back to the pack of wolves Mebh lives with back home. And even if the relationship between her and her father is a bit strained, living with him here may not be so bad.]

A pack?

[ She tilts her head a bit in confusion. What does she mean by a pack? She lacked a lot of knowledge like this, so... ]

Huh? Oh, it's like how wolves live together.

[Robyn's not entirely aware that Eri wouldn't know about something like that.]

Oh! I get it! Yeah, we're like a pack!

[ There's... a lot of things that Eri wouldn't know. She's missing out on more than just proper education, after all. Her exposure to things like this sort of just... didn't exist until she was saved. ]

Luckily the ladies at the stall are nice enough to help Eri with her new swimsuit. And Izuku pays for it too, of course! Next thing they know Eri is suited up and ready to try out the penguin slip and slide as much a she would like to.]

There, are you ready to try it out, Eri-chan?

[The slide looks pretty fast but she should be okay.]

Just be careful when you go down...! You'll have to stay on your belly.

Mm! Okay!

[ All suited up indeed! It's just a simple red one-piece that had caught her eye, and she loved it! It was her first time in something like this, after all. Plus, it was already her plan to go down entirely on her belly. She was Penguin Eri-chan, after all! If there were to be any concerns, it would just be in hoping that the scars on her arms and legs were faint enough to not really be noticed as she ran around.

So, without further ado, she's running up to the top of the slip'n'slide, and... ]

wAAAAAAHH!!

[ She lets out a loud squeal of delight as she slides down the plastic slide and down the rest of the way. Off she goes! ]

Okay!!

[And Izuku is there watching like a proud older brother, if he had glowsticks he'd be waving them around in a cheerful cheering manner.]

Go-! Eri-chan!!

[She's the best little penguin and he's so glad that she can have some fun! He's still worried that she showed up here but he knows that him and his classmates will be able to look our for her. And let her have a good time in this world while they're here. That's what they have to do, they have to look out for each other.]

[ She reaches the end of the slip'n'slide, immediately getting to her feet and running back to Izuku. Completely soaked, yes, but wearing a huge smile on her face! ]

That was so fun!! Can I go again?

[ At least while she's here, she's able to have fun, that's for sure. Honestly, being able to just carefreely enjoy herself like this was what she deserves. ]

[It's absolutely what she deserves. And Izuku's heart squeezes because how can he deny her!!]

Eri-chan! You can go as many times as you'd like to!

[He won't cry again, no!!! He smiles and encourages her to climb up again.]

Yay!!

[ She'll immediately run back over to the start of the slip'n'slide, ready to go down as many times as she wants! Which, in all likelihood, would be whenever she started to tire out.

Which... takes a while. The girl has a ridiculous amount of energy from all of the sugar. Still, when you're running on sugar, there's bound to be a crash eventually. After a good amount of time spent going down the slip'n'slide and living the penguin life, she eventually walks up to Deku, eyes half-closed. ]

Tired...

[ She's soaked and starting to crash now... ]

[Oh yep, there it is. As much as children have boundless energy they do start to burn out eventaully. It's starting to reach the end of the day anyway... This makes him wonder where he can let her stay and he immediately thinks of talking to Ochako. But for tonight?]

I think we should head back for the day and get some dinner and rest... Ne, Eri-chan, do you want to stay with me tonight? I have a cottage and I think I can get you some dinner made up.

[He thinks it's best if they stick together. And he can get some leftovers heated for her or make something fresh. He's sure that his familiar is going to adore her too. Then there's just Bakugou to deal with...

Izuku holds his hand out to her to take.]

Aah, can I?

[ She brightens up, though only so much. She's really starting to crash, so while her smile is wide, she definitely looks like she's about to fall asleep the second she's not standing on two legs.

In any case, though, she lifts her hand up and takes his. He might have to let the girls know, though. ]

Yeah, I don't think that will be a problem for tonight.

[Until they can figure out where she can stay safe! He's not too sure Katsuki will agree with keeping a kid around... Since they're only sixteen too. But he'll see what pans out!

Holding hands for maximum safety!!]

Alright, let's head back and get some dinner. Is there anything you want to eat?

Mm... candy apples...

[ That's... not a dinner food, Eri. Well, in any case, there's not a lot she dislikes enough to refuse eating. Which... may be a little strange for a girl her age, but she used to not have much of a say in the matter, so she's grown to end up appreciating everything she eats.

In any case, she's tired, so she just names her favorite sweet... which certainly isn't helped by how she'd essentially had free reign over her own sugar consumption for the past few hours. ]

Ahah... Eri-Chan, I think we might have to pick something else.

[Because yeah, apples aren't exactly dinner food! And with her sugar intake, she probably needs something healthier!]

Maybe some rice and fried fish and vegetables? And maybe apple slices for dessert!

[But only the apples. No candy??]

Mm...

[ She pouts a bit, but it was worth a shot, right? Besides, what Deku is suggesting sounds delicious as well! She'll nod and smile then. It's not candy apples, but she's had her fill of sugar anyway. ]

Okay!

[ She'll squeeze his hand a little tighter, happy to be here. ]

[ Okay so Shinsou has no idea who Eri is, but a little girl crying and alone in this place is REALLY weird. At first, from a distance, he looks all around for anyone who might possibly be her parents - and maybe scold them for leaving a child alone. Feeling confident that there are none, he assumes she must be a native girl who somehow wandered off.

This isn't exactly his forte but... a crying kid is a crying kid. He walks up closer to her, still keeping a bit of distance, and clears his throat a bit. ]

Are you from Camelot?

Eh...? Um...

[ She scoots her foot an inch back out of instinct, but he's keeping his distance, so she doesn't outright retreat. Camelot... they mentioned it on the bus, but...

She shakes her head, still too nervous to really say much. ]

Okaaaay...

[ He rubs the back of his neck. ]

Maybe another nearby town, then? If you don't know the town name, I'm not sure how much help I can be.

[ He stays upright but he doesn't try to get closer to her. ]

Aah...

[ It would be easy to just say 'no, I'm not from here", but for Eri, something like that is... hard when it comes to new people she hasn't met yet. Instead, she tries to find a way to get that across without really saying much, and well, it's not like she knows a lot of places besides... ]

U-UA...

[ Quite literally the only place she's really ever considered a 'home' before, so it's all that she can think to mention. Though, since finding anyone else from home has been a failure until now, she... doesn't look to actually expect much from it. ]

[ He's stunned, wondering if maybe she just started to say letters (A, U, U, E), or the start of a town name "Yuyuei...?" But the coincidence is too weird. ]

Did you say "UA"? As in... the school?

[ Now he does drop to a knee to look her in the eyes. ]

Do you have a Quirk that just--? [ He stops the ramble that would imply her Quirk makes her look a lot younger or smaller than a High Schooler otherwise would be, realizing she's still overwhelmed. ]

Do you have a Quirk?

[ Because at this point, if she even recognizes that word, that means she's from his world just like knowing "UA" implied. ]

[ She gasps, looking up at him with wide eyes. He recognized it, he recognized what she meant by UA! W-Was he from there? In any case, she nods profusely when he asks if she means the school. ]

Mmhm...

[ She also nods at the mention of her having a quirk, putting a hand up to the small horn on her head. It may not be an explanation of what her quirk is, but it's hopefully enough to show that this horn is her quirk, or it's at least related to it. ]

[ He sees her gesture to her horn. It confirms his suspicion, rather than unsettling him. So many people have subtle physical differences to go along with their Quirks, even if he wasn't one of them. ]

That's so weird, so many of us with Quirks... only to not let us use them. Yet, this young girl...

[ He mutters it aloud, but mostly to himself, as his attention is diverted by his train of thought. Then, he looks more at her . ]

I'm a student at UA. [ He hopes that may help put her mind at ease. ] General Studies 1-C. My name is Shinsou Hitoshi. Will you tell me yours?

[ She can't hide the look of relief when she hears that he's a student at UA. She hasn't really seen him before... but still! She can't help being shy, of course, but... ]

I-I'm Eri... E-Eraserhead-san takes care of me...

Eraserhead, huh?

[ He rubs at his neck as he muses. ] That's 1-A's teacher. You know any of them?

[ He thinks about who's here in the city. ] Midoriya, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, Tokoyami... Oh I guess Bakugou too.

[ But then he remembers how young she is. If she didn't even give HIM what sounds like a family name and only a personal name, what are the chances she knows the family names of those people even if she did meet them?

So he pulls out his phone and flips through it until he comes to the first name on his mental list, planning to flip through the others: ] Here, how about this guy?

[ It's a picture of Izuku from his inbox. ]

[ Her eyes widen as he mentions names. Names she hasn't really used a lot, preferring to opt for their hero names... but she recognizes them! Especially Deku's.

And a smile appears on her face when he shows her a picture. ]

Mm! That's Deku-san! I-Is he here?

Oh yeah, he's here. It's pretty easy to contact him, too.

[ Shinsou pulls out his phone. This is the most talkative she's been, after all. He's not sure why she's calling him "Deku", but that guy may be able to keep her talking long enough to figure out how to... deal with this situation. Make this Midoriya's problem. ]

If it's him you want, I can point you in his direction. Arrange a meetup and all that.
