🧙 WHO: Monika and ~~YOU~~!
⚔️️ WHAT: There are three prompts: one is Monika in the hotel shortly after her arrival, another is her trying out magic and the other is her helping patients as part of the Summer Fever quest. Additionally, the TDM prompts will be posted as well, in case anyone wants to play around with them. I am happy to go with either prose or bracket, whichever you're most comfortable with.

Sorry about the delay! I've been having a bit of a time

He can't help a small smile. It might be a little bold to assume all talking ducks knew each other, but it was warranted in this case.

"I am, actually! Drake and I happen to come from the same world, and have worked together on occasion." That's probably the best way to word that. "I'm Fenton. Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera! It's nice to meet you."

No worries at all!

"I figured as much."

She nodded, okay, she would have to work on that a bit. She just wasn't really used to talking ducks yet, even though it was really far from the most fantastical thing she'd seen ever since being pulled to Avalon.

"The pleasure's all mine, Fenton." Time for a small apology now. "Please forgive my assumption, I'd just never seen non-human people prior to arriving in this world."

[doctorintern]

With an understanding smile, he returns the nod. "That's okay! I can definitely understand that. It was pretty jarring arriving in this world myself. We don't really have humans where I come from either."

[peninhand]

"Mhm, Drake told me as much."

She nodded.

"It's pretty weird when we think about it... There really should be like, countless species represented here. And yet it's nearly only humans. What the heck?"

Well... She was an AI so that probably counted as a different species. But her body was human regardless.

[doctorintern]

"It is a bit strange. I suppose it has something to do with the magic that pulled us here in the first place. Though I wouldn't even know how to begin figuring out how that works."

[peninhand]

"Maybe a bias in the magic?"

That was the only answer she could think of... Since King Arthur and others native to this world were humans, they'd pull people from Earth or from Earth-like worlds. That was still a bit strange, but at least it made sense if you thought about it this way.

"Well, regardless of the answer, it's nice meeting you~!"

[doctorintern]

"I suppose that's possible. I guess it would take some research to really find out, though."

How one would research that, he isn't sure, but he's up for a challenge.

"It's nice to meet you too! I came in to see if there was anything to do here, but it looks like you've got this room well handled."

[peninhand]

"Mhm!"

She nodded.

"Well, I can't heal patients, but I help them through other means. I bring them books and promise to come back the day after. I also ask them to write a poem for that day." She smiled. "It gives them something to look forward to."

[doctorintern]

"Any little bit helps! Sometimes it's just nice to have someone visiting to make a patient feel better. But that's really nice that you encourage them to write poems. I hadn't thought about anything like that! Have you come across a lot of good ones?"

[peninhand]

"Books or patients? Because if so, the answer is the same for both, ahaha!"

She smiled, though obviously--

"Well, there are the, um, impatient patients too..."

[doctorintern]

He laughs a little. "Well I'm glad to hear that there's good of both! Of course there'll always be a few...not-so-good ones, but hopefully there aren't too many of them right now?"
