Summer Fever
[ Della can be found wrapping up her day in the children’s ward of this medical care center. She’s trying to help them fall asleep – and a good lullaby often does the trick. She smooths down one kid’s hair, and then begins to leave the room with a little sigh. ]
… At least I got to sing it to somebody this time.
Spotted Dicklivery
[ Camping in the great outdoors! With a dangerous monster waiting for them in the darkness! Who could ask for anything more? She’s even humming as she sets up the tent. ]
I think we made a lot of head-way today! I can take the first shift watching over the campsite if you want. My sleep schedule is utterly messed up, so it’s no biggie.
Lavaft Behind
[ To be fair, Della’s strategy AFTER freeing the slime is pretty good – using her kinetic powers to lift it up and away.
It’s the current ‘getting to the slime’ strategy that could use some work… as she is just hitting it with a stick over and over. It’s a big stick. But still. ]
… Okay, this might be a little harder than I thought it would be. Do you have any ideas?
Margaritaville Pair Challenge
[ Della rubs her hands together eagerly, wanting to make this even MORE of a challenge. This is a Bad Idea. ]
I bet I can down my drink faster than you! Sure, I haven’t done this kind of thing since my twenties, but it’s just like riding a bicycle, you never really forget.
Clean Up Chaos
[ Beaten by brooms! Sucker-punched by sponges! Torn apart by towels! There’s only so much abuse can take before the McDuck temper leaks through. ]
THAT’S IT! YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?! WELL, I WANT A PIECE OF YOU!
[ To hell with magic, she’s going martial-arts-mayhem on these items. With an angered cry, she grabs the broom, snaps it in half, and then begins attacking anything that’s trying to clean her up. No mercy! ]
WHO ELSE WANTS SOME?! I can do this all day! It’s time to take out the trash! A stitch in nine saves… uh… shoot, I’m running out of quips!
Of Wards And Worms
Well. This isn’t good.
[ Considering she and you have been swallowed up by a worm? Understatement of the century. It’s difficult to see, given there’s no light inside most living things, so she wanders around aimlessly, trying to find Person #2 and hope they have an idea of how to get out of this literally sticky situation. ]
You okay? … You here? … It’d really be a bummer if you got digested! But maybe you can do us a solid and give the big guy a stomachache?
