Marianne sends her response quickly, happy to be able to meet with her former classmate despite everything that's gone askew since last they met back home. Most of the clearing-of-the-air has been accomplished by her meeting with Byleth right after she arrived, especially now that she has had some time to digest everything, but it will still be nice to talk things over with Edelgard herself.

If nothing else, it's a chance to start over. A blessing, really, and one that only a neutral place like Avalon is able to bring.

She arrives promptly and is touched to notice the tea is infused with lavender. Whether Edelgard remembered from their school days or if Byleth reminded her doesn't matter--it's a meaningful gesture either way.

"Thank you for inviting me." Marianne sits and gives her hostess a small smile. "I'm glad we have a chance to spend time together like this, after everything."
