That's true. No two people experience pain the same way, even if they go through the same trauma. It can be very complex to treat someone's emotional burdens, and the medical options which are available can only treat the physical reaction. That isn't a full solution, as the thing causing pain is still present in a person's life.

It would be nice if we had a way to treat mental injuries in the same way we do physical injuries. If it was possible to go into the mind and repair problems as easily as a doctor can mend a broken arm...
