Gokudera sits up, eyes open, and looks on at that smile. He hums and decides he can share more. He's told enough people about the circumstances he was in. As long as Midoriya knows to not tell anyone, it should be fine.]

Was it frustrating starting over? No. But... I feel like I've changed too much for anything to go back to normal. I'm stuck with this [He points to the collar on his neck, which just looks like an odd fashion choice.] until I can get my owner to remove it, and it regularly causes me pain, making daily life here more difficult. I'm essentially a freed slave, and the work I do now treats me well. The people I care for are safe and well. So I'm quiet around them and I get to live out these days in Avalon pretending none of it has ever happened.
