[Izuku never had many friends as a kid either, despite being excitable, friendly and kind when he was small. It was probably because he also tended to mutter about things a lot, got in over his head too often and also wanted that same kind of acknowledgement despite not being like the other kids... At least it's a little easier now that he's in his teens. Plus having magic has been a great bonus as a conversation piece.

He's still just a tiny bit envious of people with elemental magic. He'd love to make things explode or zap things with lightning... It's so cool...!]

Ah- I've been working on alchemy for the most part! I'm getting okay at it and I'm learning how to apply it in a fight. [He sheepishly smiles in return and pats the handle of his broadsword.] I've been able to use alchemy with my broadsword sometimes too but it's all a work in progress.

[He sighs afterwards...]

But my second type of magic is b-blood magic... It's... an even bigger work in progress.
