🧙 WHO: Yang, Blake, and Makoto
⚔️️ WHAT: Friends meeting
🕒 WHEN: Mid-April
🗺️ WHERE: Shining Karaoke
⚠️ WARNINGS: None
Yang let out a sigh as she finished her shift. It wasn't exactly the most exciting job, running security for the karaoke joint, but she did have some things that kept her busy. Either way, she was more focused on what would happen now that she was off.
She had made arrangements to meet Blake here, which she was excited about. The two had more opportunities to just spend time together and have fun since coming here, which aside from an aborted attempt at dancing, they hadn't really had much opportunity to do since being reunited.
So, with a smile on her face, she sat waiting for her friend to arrive.

She's -- well, exhausted; she'd spent the better part of what should have been a sleepy Saturday morning playing farmhand with Weiss, then gone home in the afternoon for a quick nap, a shower, and several hours of drinking cup after cup of white tea, skimming one of the books she'd picked up on green magic from the library. It's early days yet, but Blake wonders when she'll become competent enough to pick up on the inner lives and feelings of plants -- and if that'll get in the way of how she'd imagined it'd complement her alchemy while questing, speeding up plants' growth only to cut them down for quick parts.
In spite of herself, she'd dressed up a little for the occasion, dusting just the tiniest hint of gold in the corner of her usual purple eyeshadow and giving her lips a little shine with some nude lipgloss. At the last minute, she'd chosen to leave her long white coat behind. These spring nights were getting warmer, after all, and were certainly warmer than the bit of Remnant she'd just been in; and if she got cold, well -- she knew Yang would have her bomber jacket with her.
The reception area for Shining Karaoke's small; Blake quickly spots Yang sitting at a nearby table. ]
Tuckered out? [ Blake jokes as she takes a seat -- and despite how tired she's feeling, she doesn't think she'd mind too much if Yang dragged her into one of the booths for a round of singing (or, more likely, incidentally harmonic shouting). ]

Exhausted? Me? You know I have more stamina than that, Blake.
[Then she smiled, earnestly.] How was your day?

One of the things Blake likes best about Yang is how easy she is to read. Blake hasn't always had the most... intuitive of responses to Yang's feelings, or matched her take on what they should do in a particular situation beat-for-beat, but Yang's never been a mystery to her. She doubts Yang could do something that would shock her because it would be unexpected, at any rate. (Shock her because it might feel a bit overwhelming, though? Definitely. But Blake mentally shelves the memory of Yang cupping her face in her hand away.)
After they've spent some ten-odd minutes chatting about Blake's day, it occurs to Blake to ask, ] I've heard that you can approach the Elphame traders about getting things from back home. Nothing like a bike, apparently [ ... unfortunately... ], but do you think you and Ruby might want to ask them about Zwei?
[ A bridge Blake will cross if and when the sisters get to it. Come to think of it, the Zwei they'd teleport here wouldn't be the "same" one their father has, right? It'd have to be some kind of copy or parallel existence like themselves -- and it's in the middle of this train of thought that Blake notices a tall, brown-haired girl entering the karaoke joint. ]

[Honestly, Makoto's glad that her shift is finally wrapped up. She's changed out of her chef's whites already and it just gonna sit down with a mocktail before heading home when oh hey! There's one face she recognizes... and one she doesn't, cute cat ears! Almost like Luna in her human form.]
Hey, Yang-san! How's it going?

I can't say I've really thought about it. I'm not exactly clear on how that all works... but it's worth talking over with Ruby.
[As she finishes talking, however, she catches notice of the person entering as well—oh! It's her friend Makoto! Who she told all about her feelings about Blake to. Nevertheless, she smiles, though a bit nervously.]
Hey there, Makoto! Getting off work? Blake, this is my friend and co-worker, Makoto. Makoto, this is Blake, who I told you about before.
