Yeah. I usually grab breakfast at the hotel and either pack some of that for lunch or buy some street food, and for dinner I usually visit a restaurant or have a meal at the pub.
[Since he carries a bottle of mayonnaise around at all times he never has to eat a meal without it. Sadly he hasn't been able to find a restaurant that makes the "Hijikata Special" like his favourite place back home - Avalonian rice dishes just don't taste the same, somehow -, but he isn't too picky, so it's been working out so far.]
But those are flooded now, so maybe I should stock up on some meals... since we don't have ovens and stoves in our rooms, how about you just buy some ready-made ones for now too? You can keep them in the fridge and heat them up in the microwave oven in the breakfast area.
[If this were Edo he'd suggest some rice balls since those are easy to make, store, and eat, but they don't seem to be a staple here. There may well be some shops that sell them, but not this supermarket, and Hijikata hasn't even tried to make his own food, so he's struggling to come up with further ideas.]
Otherwise... maybe bread rolls and cold meat or fish? They do sell that here. Or something sweet, like marmalade?
