Not-So-Humble Bumble
Finn likes honey, with it being one of his favorite treats, but he doesn't see himself partaking of this particular honey. The Dunmer settles himself just outside the Red Springs with a pair of binoculars, surveying the scene. He could go in, fire blazing, and take them all out, but he'd rather not do that. Surely there's a way to lure them away, or smoke them out. Anyone is free to come up and join him.
Vital Venoms
Giant spiders are something Finn is familiar with. He encountered them all the time back in Skyrim and parts of Morrowind. He has to say, the idea of spider venom having more uses than just coating weapons is interesting to him. Descending into the cave, Finn proceeds with caution, not wanting to become a spider's lunch. He can hear something scurrying, and it sounds like something with more than two legs. He's not scared of spiders, but he's never tried to capture a live one. How hard can it be.
As he descends into the cave, his foot gets snagged in some webbing. Cursing under his breath, Finn bends down and gets out his knife to cut himself free.
Boxed In
This might be a good chance for Finn to flex his newfound Death Magic. Finn travels to the Ash Mountains, the name reminding him of home, and the Land of Rot. This places gives him the creeps. Must be the general aura of death. His familiar is at his side as he walks through the Land of Rot. The cave is close by.
Kneeling down, his spider familiar at his side, Finn uses his new magic to try and communicate with the spirits inside the cave. Immediately, he flinches and cuts off the spell. "They don't sound very happy in there."
