One of Jack's decides to struggle as they walk-- the first, as the second is still kind of dazed-- but he holds it at arm's length. His ineffective flailing trying to learn how to use his sword has done one thing, at least: seriously beefed up his arm muscles. So that's actually possible, at least for a little while.
