[It's hard to know exactly how to respond. The feelings that immediately surface upon running into him are conflicting at best, mostly leaning towards anger, but she has never been the sort to let that get the better of her. Aggressive as she has been known to be, it has always been a choice, her energy always carefully directed towards a certain purpose, the result of years upon years of meditation and training and a flat-out refusal to let her anger rule her, and choosing to master it instead.
All of that, and yet it pricks at her now, insistent and annoying, and yet this isn't the time or place to pick a fight. What good would it do, anyway?

[Her voice is even and calm, though not without a great deal of effort, and even as she looks to Bella, the succubat laughs nervously in response.]
"There's no thief in here, so I'll just go look outside while you two talk!"
[Before Jade can protest, her familiar vanishes into thin air, leaving the two of them alone, and she exhales before dropping a hand to rest against her hip while she gestures vaguely with the other.]

[She would rather have a playful familiar than a mean-spirited one, surely, but Bella's flightiness can be exhausting.]
