[ By the time Cloud's gone inside, Weiss has taken off her shrug and her belts so she can comfortably move around the kitchen and help Elaine out. After washing her hands, of course! Elaine did all the cooking, but Weiss actually likes to set the table, make sure everything is nice and tidy, and that the utensils are in proper place before eating.

Tonight's dinner is French skillet chicken and mashed potatoes! It looks like Elaine kept the skin on, too. Weiss is absolutely clueless how to make these, but— ]

Oh— Can you cook a couple pieces of the chicken more? Cloud might want his a little more crunchy.

[ At least, the chicken looks soft, but also because of the sauce. That's good! Weiss is completely fine with it, but just in case Cloud wants that extra cronch, she'll ask Elaine for that quick favour before Cloud gets in. ]

And no lemons! Not yet. I'm not sure he likes that kind of flavour.

[ To that, Elaine just chuckles before putting some chicken breasts back on the skillet to cook it some more. It won't take long, anyway! And she's glad Weiss is comfortable enough to voice out their preferences. For a while, Weiss didn't really say much, mostly agreeing with what Elaine said. The more Weiss talked about what she likes and dislikes, though, the more the lady was able to see and understand things that she's never really thought of before. ]
