🧙 WHO: Donovan and whoever comes to the various tea shops and Inns
⚔️️ WHAT: Busking for money
🕒 WHEN: First week of March
🗺️ WHERE: various tea shops and Inns
⚠️ WARNINGS: Bad jokes, angst mentions, mentions of loss and war.
To keep things rom getting too stale, not only had he added some newer songs to his line up, but he had also added tea shops to his rounds. He got permission to perform at some of the ones that had seating. Being a tea shop he chose some of his slower and more sentimental songs. The ballads especially.
Tonight was Blue Angel, a song he wrote for the friend who had given his life to save Dominic's. A loving tribute to a hero that would forever be in the hearts of the Deegan family.
After a few songs, ending with that one, Donovan was done for the night. He reminded people of the tip bowl - "Tipping isn't just for the tipsy" - before stepping down from the small strange, swinging his guitar to rest across his back, careful of the sword on his hip. Once he collected his money he gave the owner their share and then accepted the offered cup of tea.
When asked what kind, he grinned and popped the collar on his hot pink shirt. "How about a blend of rooibos and White?" Because that would make pink, right? Totally works that way.
