Caster | Fate/Stay Night (UBW)

Party Arrival
Heroic 'Spirit' or not, Caster couldn't help a small laugh of amusement as she found the fae had dressed her in a skeletal outfit, with a ghostly veil and mismatched sleeves. How ironic.

Her little familiar quickly grew excited by the change, scrambling over her shoulders until she was able to take it into her arms.

"Haha... I suppose we do match like this, don't we, Little One?"

...She'd miss the tiny dragon.

For now, Caster held the Little One close as she looked around for anyone she knew, soaking in the atmosphere the glowing flowers and candles provided.

Swords Dance
If there was one thing that hadn't changed, it was that Caster was still interested in all of the magical rituals performed in Avalon.

Despite being in no way a physical fighter- thank goodness that there were thin small swords that didn't need much arm strength to practice with!- she eagerly took the offer to learn. Still...trusting someone? The last time she'd done a ritual like this it had gone rather poorly, but that was a long time ago wasn't it? Surely she'd have better luck of it now?

"...So, are you interested in attempting this dance with me?"

Death Ball
When it came to the dance following the speeches, though, Caster felt herself hanging back. Sensing her nerves, her familiar reached up from its place in her arms and nuzzled at her cheek, making tiny little laser type sounds.

"Worried? I'm alright...magic that toys with my emotions in that way has always made me a little ill at least, that is all. You shouldn't fuss so much."

Caster could tell it wasn't a love spell, but it still felt uncomfortably similar... well, perhaps she could be convinced to join in if an ally came to encourage her.

Memory Lane
The sea of candles surrounding them certainly gave Caster pause for thought- she was certain she could find her's, of course, but each of these represented someone on Avalon, didn't it? How did she feel about that...friends, allies, enemies, people she'd never see again as she left this world for home- and then for other worlds entirely, if she made it that far.

What was to come next frightened her.

She found herself reaching for something, anything, to warm the chill in her heart- and when she came to her senses and realised what was around her, her shaking hand had already moved to close around a candle.

"Well...perhaps I do not need to dwell on that tonight."

A strong flame, flickering between light blue and deep purple. So this was her's, was it?
