[After the Pirate of the Avalon episode, Ren decides to go for magic training. He's excellent at Healing magic at this point, but he wants to improve on his siphoning one in case he needs it more in the future.

Ren reaches one of the training grounds, looking around to see if there was anyone who could help him.

He notices Caster there as well and approaches her with a charming smile.]

Hello, beautiful lady... would you do me the honor of helping me with magical training?

[ For Tsumugi, at least, it's been a normal day thus far. With the sun's return and the weather feeling more like summer again, he's spent most of his Moondrop shift behind the cafe counter, taste testing iced coffees and other cold drinks.

It's here that Elsa will find him, slowly sipping his attempt at an iced mocha from a mug - though he sets it down once he notices her. ]

Hello, Elsa-san! [ He smiles, as per usual. ] What would you like today?

( Okay, Izumi Tachibana. You can do this. You've helped a theatre survive and pay off a ten million yen debt despite no directing experience. You can do this.

MAYBESHECAN'T. Oh goodness, why is this so scary? Well, if nothing else, at least she can write these flowers off as a job well done in Elsa's first lead role. Never mind that no one else was given flowers from Izumi for doing lead roles, this is totally a believable cover when Elsa inevitably says she just thinks of Izumi as a friend.

The fact that she's wearing a cute, summery dress in a pretty shade of blue is definitely just because it's warm. Sure! That's... believable...

Point is that Izumi is currently knocking on Elsa's door, unannounced, holding a small bouquet of pretty, pastel coloured roses, trying to resist the urge to scarper all the way back to her house. )

[After a nice, relaxing honeymoon, Jean is back at Camelot and it's straight back to work for him.

Somehow, during his stay away from Camelot he's grown taller. Now he's at a 190 cm of height. He has bumped into quite a few door frames already since adjusting to being this tall is still taking time. At least he's getting better about it and he has healing magic to heal any bruises he gets.

He's patrolling Camelot on foot a lot. Mostly because he feels like it.

He may also be found from his business, Barkour helping with animals there and watching over things.]

[Hijikata runs into Jean on patrol. He's not on shift himself, having dedicated himself to the night patrol, but he's not too busy to walk with him for a while!]

Back at work already? I hope you put that entirely aside while you were gone at least!

[Jean looks good - happy, relaxed, and... is he just standing taller, or did he have a growth spurt?]

[Jean smiles at Hijikata hen they meet. It's good to see him again, definitely.]

I had other things to think about and do during my time away, plenty to keep my mind occupied. [It was truly the best, relaxing vacation. He feels refreshed and full of energy.]

But someone has to make sure Camelot is safe during the day.

Maybe I'll move to the day patrol come October. I haven't decided yet.

[First he needs to see his ghost subordinates off to the afterlife with all the festivities they were bereft of last year, and if shit hits the fan again in that regard any plans he might make now may just be moot.]

Say, what did they feed you on your honeymoon?

[Jean definitely did grow taller!]

Oh, right... Autumn Equinox is approaching, isn't it?

[That meant the end of this ghost patrol and gathering a new one would take time. Hopefully this time the equinox would go well and the souls could peacefully pass on.

Though he's pretty sure where the next question comes from. At least, he has a good hunch and he will live by it.]

Just normal food. I doubt anything could have affected a growth spurt... unless there was something in the berry cow milk.

[Hijikata doesn't plan on gathering new ghost subordinates. He never planned to start a ghost patrol to begin with, it was just the only way he could think of to support the lost souls adrift in Camelot after the last autumn equinox. Of course the Yuureisengumi ended up giving them not only structure and purpose, but earnest companionship. He knows he'll miss them, but he's determined to see them off next month. For now, though, he won't dwell on that too much yet.]

Cow berry milk? Is that just cow milk with berries, or are there berries that look like cows around here?

[He's seen enough food-based creatures on Avalon, he's not going to put it past this island!]

No, uh... there are cows. Pink fairy cows. They provide milk that has different berry tastes.

[It was something he hadn't expected or heard about before.]

[Or this way around, sure, that works too. Oh Avalon!]

Where... where do those live?

[He's never seen them!! It's not like he's dying to see pink fairy cows or anything - he'll only travel for mayonnaise fairies -, but they do sound vaguely endearing. Also he inevitably thinks of Gintoki back home... he'd definitely move into the area just to have a daily fresh supply of strawberry milk.]

[Elsa has had a strange morning. It wasn't awful, just full of Elsa getting distracted by her thoughts. Especially about a certain director.

She had decided to go to the person who seemed closest to Izumi to talk. About some things inside her mind and heart.]

Hey. Could I get a caramel latte and... maybe a chat?

[Yes, she did just order it like an item from the menu 😔]

[Elsa isn't really expecting anyone knocking on the door but she stops brushing her hair when she hears it. She had plans on making a braid, her hair, the ties on her table.

She has a more casual, yet blue dress as she opens the door. There was Izumi, with a boquet of flowers.]

Izumi! Hello. [Wow, she's so cute.] Beautiful flowers... please, do come in.

Oh! ( h-help. How is Elsa so pretty all the time. There's a nervousness to Izumi's smile, a flush to her cheeks, as she steps in before holding out the roses. )

These. Um. These are for you.

( She's here! She's going to do this! )

Elsa-chan, could we... talk?

[For her? Elsa blushes as she takes the roses from Izumi. The pastel colors are beautiful and they smell very nice. That compared to just Izumi looking like she did... this whole situation seemed so dreamy.]

Thank you.

[Though she gets nervous butterflies about "could we talk". What could she mean? She hopes it's... no. She... She shouldn't get her hopes up or assume anything.]

Of course we can. We can talk about anything you want.

( Okay. Elsa's looking at those roses, and at her, in a way that has her stomach doing flips. That has to be a good sign, right?

Ughhhh. It's okay! She's been rejected from so many things in life, what does it matter if Elsa rejects her... hahaha... )

I... ( Deep breath, Izumi Tachibana. ) I think you're a really wonderful person, Elsa-chan. I'm so glad you joined Kaika and we became friends. ( ... Is she rambling? She's definitely rambling. Back to the point, Tachibana! )

Um. What I'm trying to say is... I've been, um, thinking about our kisses a lot. And, ah, about you. A lot.

( Definitely rambling. Oh, what if she ruins this friendship like this? )

I mean! Um... ( She's not sure if her face could get much redder right now. ) I'd like to take you out on a date. Um. As girlfriends. Romantically. If you're interested in that.

I've only ever seen them in Fleur, Taichi Nanao's lands. I had never heard of them before visiting there.

[Then again he hasn't... paid attention so who knows. There might be fairy cows around.]

Anyway, that was the most excotic thing I tried. Along with desserts made from the milk.

[ Tsumugi doesn't even hesitate. ]

Of course. [ Though there's something about her demeanor that's... maybe not outright concerning, but curious? It seems there's something on her mind. Something important.

Once they're settled in a quiet corner, each with a cup of coffee in hand and a replacement for Tsumugi behind the register, he asks. ] What do you want to talk about?

[Taichi... he's part of the theatre troupe, isn't he? He seems like a cheerful boy, going by what mental images Hijikata can recall from AOL broadcasts he's seen from him. Once more he can only wonder how anyone, let alone young people like Taichi, are willing to take responsibility for the development and prosperity of entire townships.]

I should travel around more. I haven't visited any of the outworlder-ruled towns except Atys so far, but I heard that one of them is like a Japanese spa village.

[He's used to going to the Red Springs, but a slightly more authentic taste of home would be nice! He's long overdue a visit to Li Min's land, too.]

Oh, yeah. We visited that place too since they're neighbors and there's a lazy river that connects them. It was an interesting ride there and back.

[Otherworlders sure come up with the strangest of transport methods. As if Avalon didn't have weird things already.]

The spas were definitely great there.
