This wasn't the best idea on Jade's part, that much was for sure. It would have been better to fall straight to the ground instead of impacting the counter first. And what little chance he has at catching himself is gone the moment Floyd trips him and in his attempt to right himself, a bunch of plates also crash to the floor as Jade slams flat on his back, dragging Floyd down with him so that he's likely at least partially on top of Jade, making it even harder to breathe.

Jade's stunned for a long moment and then chokes. "Well... there goes... my paycheck." He doesn't know why that's the first thought that comes to his mind, but it is. Maybe his body is also in a bit of shock now and it's taking him time to get back up and start moving. If this was the ocean, he might very well be killed right about now.

How wonderful that they are on land instead.
