By instinct, Jade decides to try and grapple the fist coming towards his face with the intent to use Floyd's momentum to throw him to the ground. His eyes widen when he realizes Floyd's real intention and Jade reacts too late to it.

He gasps as the breath is knocked out of him and staggers. Despite being winded though, Jade has enough presence of mind to try and grab onto Floyd's clothes, trying to yank him into the counter, or the floor. Jade's not quite sure what he's going to collapse against until he can steady himself.
