I do not recall hearing any such.

[Which is not to say that it didn't happen, but if it did it certainly wasn't anything she was particularly privy to.]

Though perhaps it is to do with this place itself?

[It's certainly more than a little unusual and it's not hard to imagine that there might be magical effects that could be found here and nowhere else.]

Should it not be his choice as much as any other's?
