⚔️️ WHAT: Claire decides to introduce her girlfriend to one of her other friends by investigating mysterious disappearances at a spa, failing to realize how much of an introduction it will end up being.

⚠️ WARNINGS: It's the Missing Mindful quest, so...nudity. Lots of nudity. So much nudity.

"I think perhaps some light reconnaissance is in order when we get in." That's Chris' judgment as she, Claire, and Stephanie approach the enter the Realm of Rest & Relaxation Spa, once their "spa day" has been paid for. "Once we have the lay of the land we can plot our next move. And for the time being, I strongly advise we stay together." That probably goes without saying giving the disappearances they're here to investigate, but Chris would prefer to be safe than sorry.

"Welcome to the Realm of Rest & Relaxation!" Further conversation is interrupted by the appearance of a wide-smiling attendant. "We hope you enjoy your stay at Camelot's finest nude spa. First thing's first, let's make sure nothing gets in the way of reaching your most authentic self!" There's a wand in her hand.

"Wait, I'm sorry did you say—" is all a suddenly alarmed Chris has time to say before the wand is waved and all three are all suddenly stripped of all their clothes, leaving them quite naked.

"Now, please enter the Realm and feel free to partake of all the comforts it may offer you!" And the attendant is gone again.

This is not a turn of events Chris expected or finds particularly favourable. A search and rescue mission was one thing, but to do so completely naked the entire time? Covering her chest with an arm, Chris turns to face...Claire, mostly since the sheer embarrassment radiating off Stephanie is palpable, and because she and Claire are already well-acquainted with each other unclothed, but she's still careful to focus on a point just above her brow (or as best she can with Claire hunched over the way she is).

"Nor I. They left this particular detail out of the quest posting." Despite her own cheeks being dusted with pink, she's more composed, more annoyed than anything. Public bathing isn't new for her, and if Chris thinks of the spa in those terms, it's...easier to deal with. Like the other two women, she's also got her fair share of scars, mostly along her arms and upper-body. "Regardless, it seems if we're to do this, we must do so...unclothed. At the very least we still have access to our magic, so we're not entirely defenseless."

She glances back behind her to the door that leads to the rest of the spa. "Do we continue or not? I'm prepared to give it a shot myself, but if either of you do do not wish to press onward, we can see about getting your clothes back from the staff." After all, their clothes must still be on the premises somewhere, right? They wouldn't just be teleported off somewhere or...destroyed, surely.

Steph makes a sound somewhere between a groan and a sigh. Straightening, she gives up on trying to cover her lower half for about ten seconds before trying again. It feels so weird being completely nude in public. So weird.

"It's not like it's anything anyone hasn't seen..." she grudgingly concedes, turning just enough to glance at the other two. If they want to keep going, she's not going to be the wet blanket. But if she doesn't get her clothes back before they head home then somebody is going to bleed for it.

"Yeah..." Claire nods to Steph, before focusing her gaze back on Chris. She inhales, focusing her thoughts, and forces her hands clear. One reaches for her partner's, the other for Steph's, giving both a reassuring squeeze.

"'s just a little nudity. Nothing that's gonna hurt us. And we've all got the same bits, so whatever."

Chris's mention of magic, though, gives her another idea. Drawing her hands back, she twists her fingers in a circle and weaves shadows around them. Just a little, enough to make things seem a bit hazy.

"It's not much, but it's something, eh?"

[Sorry for the delay, been going through some unexpected stuff this month, trying to at least keep on top of this thread.]

Chris takes Claire's hand with a small reassuring smile and squeezes back. "Then we're agreed." She nods. "In that case, let's get to work."

That's when Claire works her magic and affords them all a little modesty, at least. Dropping the arm from her chest, Chris looks down, and then back at the others. "Ah, smart thinking, Claire. Thank you." She turns around and starts to head in.

"Right. I think our first order of business is to survey the grounds." She decides. "See if we can suss out any potential hiding spots." A lot of people have gone missing, so they'd need a fairly large space... "Perhaps if we find some agreeable staff we might be able to "pump them" as they say for information. Yes?"

"Right idea, terrible choice of words." Steph grimaces at the images that particular expression brings to mind at a nude spa.

Glancing down at herself, the magic seems to be... somewhat effective, at least. She tries standing upright again. It still feels like a literal nightmare, but she mentally slaps herself and tells herself to suck it up. She turns all the way around, though her arms are still wrapped around her breasts. Maybe she can find a towel to use.

"Tell me if I start to go invisible. I haven't really got it figured out yet."

It's an act of willpower for Claire not to burst out laughing at the phrase. It sounds so weird coming from Chris in the first place, and it is even worse in the context. She slips an arm around her partner's shoulders though, and flashes a grin.

"No pumping anyone, babe. I'd get jealous."

Turning her attention to Stephanie, she nods, letting her arm drop away from Chris after a lingering moment.

"Surveying the grounds is a good idea, yes. We should probably see if they have a map of the place, and see if there's anything out of the ordinary. Rooms that look like they don't belong, or doors that don't fit with the surrounding area, maybe?"
