Moon Rabbit Chase - Camelot, Broceliande, and in between

[They were everywhere. Just like last year. Keith had found a few people buried under them and, thankfully, had managed to avoid getting buried himself. This time, they were eating... everything. And, considering the current state of things in town, that was a problem.

Keith will gladly rescue anyone buried in kits, or help chase them down with magical tag.

He might also get stuck under a pile or two, so help a guy out? Challenge him to a contest of catching the most rabbits?]

Run Away Trash Can - Training Grounds

Look out!

[Magic has been weird, but Keith was going to risk it to stop that trash can looking sprite with the giant googly eyes from running you over! A wall of ice came up around it, keeping it in place for the moment.]

You okay? [If you were, Keith could use some help wrangling that thing in. It was a fighty one!]

Party Tent - Camelot

[So, usually service quests weren't Keith's thing. He was better at combat ones. That said, though, setting up a party tent for some kids to play in wouldn't be too hard, right?

Well, it was when you were trying to do it by yourself, and you didn't have the right magic. There was only so much he could do with elemental or animal magic here. And just setting up a bunch of rock shelters probably wasn't what they were looking for. If anyone wanted to help out, Keith certainly wasn't going to turn them down.

In fact, if you look too idle, he might even try to approach...]

Uh... hey... you mind giving me a hand with something?

Finding Frosty - Camelot

[Herding snowmen into a giant freezer was certainly a new one. They weren't exactly thrilled about being pushed around and taken away from people's refrigerators, either. However, Keith did find that he could tempt them into coming with him if he used his ice magic. Around town, Keith could be found cautiously creating ice slides for the snowmen, guiding them towards the giant freezer.

Keeping the other ones in, though, was certainly a task.]

Hey, you mind giving me a hand with the door here? They're really pushing to get out, and I'm trying to get that one in before it runs off.

Zombie Showdown - Lestari

[Keith wasn't young enough to see the forest spirit, but the situation in Avalon was getting him restless. With the calamity so visible in the sky now, and with how things seemed to be getting worse rather than better, he needed a good release of nervous energy.

Zombie felling seemed like a good way to do that.

He traveled off to Lestari's ruins to do just that. Did you go, too? Maybe you met on the road there. Either way, Keith was pretty happy to work with others to get rid of the zombies and allow the forest spirit the chance to enter and bring back some plant life.]

Wannabe Farmer Boy - Camelot Farms

[So, clearing frost with fire magic wasn't a bad deal. It was Keith's strongest element and the one he'd since developed the most control over during the past year. He also was pretty strong, so throwing in some physical labor for plowing and planting wasn't bad, either, and it kept him busy. Being busy was something he needed right now. He'd never really been a farmer, but, honestly, this part of the job wasn't all that difficult. Someone else was doing the major planning, and Keith was okay with that.

Planting seeds with him? Plowing the next row? Clearing up some frost? Come chat to pass the time with mindless work, or join him for a lunch break. Keith might not be much of a conversationalist, but he was a good listener!]

Knight Quest: Anthropophagi - Lotus Pod Mountain Settlement

[Keith checked the gear one last time, checked the group who was coming with him, and they headed out on horseback to the Lotus Pod Mountain once again. He would gladly discuss strategy with others in his group along the road. There will also be camping, night watch, and just general party defense as they travel.

They'd make their last camp just over a ridge and out of sight of the main settlement to avoid detection and plan their move. Talking strategy and prepping for battle... easy fight practice and maybe some magic practice, but nothing too dangerous or strenuous to avoid problems during the next day's battle.

Keith was also going to check in with other groups who might be going to see who was approaching from where and when in order to better coordinate a potential multi-pronged attack. Hey there, fellow knights leading groups... care to flank from the other side? Need a support group to come in from behind? Keith will work that out with you.

And, the fight, of course. Keith was used to having small groups against larger numbers. He preferred a bit of stealth these days, as it definitely helped to take the enemy by surprise. Once in position, then it would be time for a bit of LEEEERROOOYYY JEEEENNNKIIIINS to get in there and attack!]

[Tag is still new to him. Having never had the rules explained, Shoto's observed more than questioned, sort of mimicking now that he sees things in motion. He's never played a proper game before—launching off wind, pushing himself well ahead of the gush of rabbits still trailing him. He's strictly competitive; a lingering seriousness about him: his making an effort. Fingers stretched to tag another boy. Swiping from too far away at first, though Keith should feel it in brush to shoulder, in the hand barely reaching as he's shooting right past him.]

You're it.

[He can't be caught! He's taking right off again; only knows he's meant to run, to be chased and chase others, leading the rabbits away. To tag new "its" now and then. In any case, he's running as hard as he ever has, and (vaguely) somewhere towards the Broceliande. He's found the spirit, at least?

He'll herd the most rabbits, yet!]

[Keith was momentarily surprised, but, really, he should have known better. He was stunned for just a moment, but then took off after this tagger. No way was he going to let someone else get the better of him. Trying to be careful of the Moon Rabbits, he decides to transform into a bird for the moment so he didn't step on any, and would attempt to use the lingering remains of the wind from his target to give himself a boost to catch up.]

[Robyn's dealt with these little bunnies before, but last year all they did was pile on top of people. This year they seem to be more of a problem. Still, Robyn doesn't want to hurt them if at all possible, so she's happy to help out with herding them towards the woods.

Of course, she should have expected that she'd find someone buried under a pile of them sooner or later. These bunnies seem to like doing that.]

They got you too, did they?

[tempredmental]

[Keith huffed a sigh, blowing his bangs out of his face, and then nodded.]

Yeah... a bit.

[He was covered in cute fluffy bunnies, and, if he wasn't kind of frustrated by it, it would be amusing and cute and probably kind of fun.]

These rabbits seem to like pilin' on top of people, don't they? They did it last year, too.

[Robyn kneels down to scoop a few of them up. She knows she should probably use her animal magic to convince them to get off Keith, but they seem to be pretty willful this time around.]

Were you tryin' to get them back to the woods? That's what I'm doin'.

[tempredmental]

Yeah, I was. [It took some coaxing, but, with Robyn's help, Keith was freed from enough of the bunnies that he could at least get up.] They're not really listening to me... just a lot of 'wee' and 'play with me' going on here. [He ended up picking a few up in his arms as he stood.]

[wolfhunted]

They haven't been listenin' to me much, either...they seem like they want to cause more trouble this year. [What with how intent they are on eating everything.]

If they want to play that much, maybe we should play with them somehow.

[tantailizing]

[Depending on what sort of help is needed, Zidane's typically up for the task. Let's see how well Keith does in convincing him...!]

Sure, what's up?

[And already done.]

What'd you have in mind? [Honestly, at this point, Keith was willing to try anything to prevent the entire town from being consumed.]

I'm working on setting up some tents over there. I could use a second person.

[Yeah. Party tents... just to block the sky. They were otherwise mostly open. But the size was prohibitive for just one person.]

[tantailizing]

Tents? Yeah, I got you.

[He could guess which quest it was for too. There were so many ways people were trying to fulfill it.]

[wolfhunted]

[Robyn thinks this over for a moment. She'd heard something earlier about these rabbits liking tag. Well, only one way to find out.]

Tag, you're it! [And she tags Keith on the shoulder before running off in the direction of Broceliande. It isn't long before the rabbits start chasing after her. Hopefully Keith gets the idea.]

[He started back towards where he was setting them up. He had three at the moment, thinking that might be enough for this particular space considering their size.]

I'm used to those like single person tents, but I haven't done a bigger one like this.

[tempredmental]

What? [Again? What was with- Ooohhh... Yeah. The rabbits liked to run. Okay, then. Keith smirked and gave chase, any lingering rabbits coming along with him. The ones in his arms had even wriggled free so they could join in and run.]

[wolfhunted]

[Looks like what Robyn had heard earlier was correct, since the rabbits seem focused on running after her so they won't get tagged themselves. Now to make sure they'll actually follow her...]

Hurry! We can't let him catch us! [Robyn calls back over her shoulder to the rabbits. Best to keep up with the idea that this is a game.]

[tempredmental]

[Keith grinned as they ran, actually enjoying this himself. He heard Robyn yell, and went along with it.]

Oh, I'll catch you! [He was competitive after all. He wasn't going to make this easy, even if it was a trick to get the rabbits to go where they wanted them to.]

[wolfhunted]

[Robyn finds she's getting caught up in the game as well, in spite of herself. It reminds her of when she used to play games with her friends back in England, before she and her father had to move. Even if she has more freedom here than she did in Kilkenny, it's nice to remember that.

Fortunately, it isn't long before they're on the outskirts of Camelot and the woods are within sight.]

Look! There's the forest! We can lose him in there! [Yeah, she's giving away her plan to Keith, but at least this way the rabbits will know where to follow her.]

No problem!

[Following after Keith, his tail swings behind him at ease, and his hands come to rest behind his head while they mosey along.]

That's fair. Depending on the size, it usually takes a few hands on deck.
