[ It's a pain in the ass, but despite how Horus acts on the surface at times, he did grow up learning from a master: the original goddess of creation, wisdom, and war, Neith. Without a mastery of discipline, he would not have the means to act as he does and demand as he sees fit. He demands because he knows when it comes to skill and battle, he will always come out on top- he has to. That is the kind of attitude he took when it came to the transfiguration portion of alchemy, even if he finds potions much more tedious.

It's a discipline that's reflected in the way he very carefully watches and replicates Hijikata's path once Hijikata gives the all clear. He's got the high ground, he has a better view for safety than Horus does, after all.

Horus gestures at the guards once he's up with Hijikata and makes a gesture with his hand across his neck, then tilts his head and makes a sleeping, hands-folded gesture. Kill or knock them out? ]
