[ Zidane is quick to parry, despite whatever injury he caused upon his wrist. Somnus answers in kind-- but it seems as if he's still waiting, perhaps, for whatever affliction with which Zidane suffers to take him down further.

Instead of reaching out to force him to the ground, Somnus lifts his free hand to dispense a shockwave of lightening towards the other. ]
