Jyushi is someone that has spend so much time fearing the way other's view him, he places a great deal of weight on his own sometimes biased impressions of a situation. When he speaks of Ichiro it's with the certainty that Ikebukuro's division leader is just nice. They're just friends. How could Jyushi possible presume to bother him with his own feelings.
Hitoya tries not to counter it with bias of his own but, the way Ichiro is smiling at him now... well... he's been around the block enough times to know how to read a look like that. And he wants to shake his head and smile in response.
