[It was strange hearing those words from someone he just met. He didn't mind as he knew how important bonds were and especially during times of uncertainty. It felt a little odd exposing himself to someone who seemed to be empathetic to his feelings.

This was why he couldn't help but give a small pout. It was a reminder to himself that he was still just a kid and it was okay for him to be one here.]

I guess that's true too. I just hope they're okay even if they are because I do worry what will happen if I'm not there.

My world isn't as dangerous as most I've heard but it doesn't stop me from wondering what could happen.
