[ He didn't actually expect the bubbles to grow to the size that they are. Even as he attempts to swing the sword into them, he gets blasted backwards from the energy -- and into another bubble.
It rockets him about in a, honestly, hilarious fashion as false feathers from the angelic form seem to come off with each blast.
Looking more like a ruffled bird, he finally stops crashing into the bubbles. His wings extend as rays of light start to manifest from the extended feathers. It sends out a pulse of bright light -- meant more to clear the area than anything else.
He's still not the smartest as an angel bird, unfortunately. ]
