If there's one thing that Regis truly cherishes outside of his son, it's Cor. Marshal is known to be quite stern at times but whenever they're together, he's the opposite. Regis knows first hand how warm and caring Cor truly is deep down. It always made him feel special knowing he's one of the few who can make him smile nevertheless laugh. However, he doesn't get the luxury to dwell on that now that Noctis has joined the fight below.
"Oh dear," He mutters under his breath as he rubs his now aching forehead. "Perhaps I did Noctis a great injustice by speaking of him as if he's just a child but he's indeed a man grown. My son has been training since childhood on how to defend himself. Therefore, I suppose he'll be fine." Even though Regis is somewhat confident that Noctis will do just fine in this match, he's still a little nervous.
That much is apparent judging from how tightly Regis clenches his jaw.
