It was probably one of those mimic trees that are meant to trick us.
[ She hadn't noticed the tree doing anything unusual, but that's technically why they're supposed to go out in pairs.
As Dust climbs up the next tree, Amy summons her hammer and waits nearby, just in case this one is also a mimic. ]
