[Lorenz finds the entire idea of these "cursed" places rather charming actually. The Library being done up as an art gallery is something that resonates with him, reminds him of the extravagant pieces hung above mantles and beside shelves in the large library in Gloucester Estate. Certainly those pieces were not nearly so animated but the style is similar enough that it is not half so spooky as it's meant to be.

The enchantments on the paintings shift from time to time so he's wandered through more than once, sometimes appraising the quality of the artwork (and finding it lacking after so long witnessing the masterpieces Ignatz is able to bring to life) and sometimes just perusing the shelves still standing between the art. The varied lighting, the distraction of enchantments, he's had more than one occasion where he's found a new book he'd likely have never noticed before just by chance.

So when he next comes to the library and sees someone hesitating he can't help offering his arm, as a proper gentleman would, and smiling down at them. Never once considering that a man in rather Victorian garb, all long limbs and seemingly impossibly tall, might only add to one's trepidation.]

[Lorenz is all too thrilled to have an opportunity to really play with the light magic he's only been fiddling with a little here and there over the weeks. He's having a lot of fun with the costuming opportunities, shifting outfits from Swan Princess, to demon, to undead and a little bit of everything in between. He's clearly pulling inspiration from others as well, sometimes drawing on concepts he's not entirely certain he understands and coming up with something that isn't precisely definable.

Which is how he ends up approaching you, smiling and uncertain, body language completely at odds with his costume. ]
