[He doesn't protest at all, in fact his body relaxes against hers as she lifts and carries him. It's only then that his eyes completely shut and his consciousness wears out, dropping into a deep sleep. He'll only begin to rouse when she reaches the cave, her voice reaching his ears. Slowly he'll open his eyes again and look forward, and really there's nothing else they can do. At the very least he doesn't hear or smell anything inside, so it should be empty and safe for them.

He just wishes he wasn't so useless right now...

For now he just moves his head to gently bump against her.............belatedly he realized he bumped his head against her chest and stiffens for a moment before he curls back in. But at least she should know he's awake???]
