I wonder if adding a sheep to the next one would help with sleep at all? I know it does for other people, but it never did for me.
That's just something I did while caring for actual sheep.

The sheep would definitely be more visible, but maybe if they hid it in better spot it wouldn't be spotted until the child went to sleep.
