( If someone from home were to ask about how Asriel felt about being around so many flowers, he'd admittedly say that it feels... odd at this point in time. However, he's pushed through his feelings regarding that here for Chara's sake, and that's why he's here now. His best friend did have a preference regarding such things, after all. Preserving flowers this way seems like a nice way to keep the memory of them all the more vivid when winter does finally arrive.
