[Yuber thrusts his blades into the eye and hears a satisfying roar of anger. He's about to strike again when he sees the beast's eyelids reflexively slam shut.

With a second, bellowing roar, the dragon thrashes violently, bucks its head from side to side and sends Yuber sailing into the sky.

The demon's limbs go still as he watches the burning city below rush upwards to meet him.]
