[Believe it or not for how absolutely far gone Hawk is, he still can hear Darin and respond. He actually does mostly still have a capability of telling ally from enemy but it really is more on the level of dragon is far more interesting and for now his thirst for battle is satisfied. This is a foe that could beat him and it's such a rush to truly be threatened and there to be an actual possibility of dying here. That hasn't happened since he came here outside of crazy dreams and his own nightmares. While he's no longer capable of feeling fear over the threat to him, he still can feel that same intensity of truly feeling alive right now that has been missing for so long.
He does have some wounds, nothing too bad though. Just a few cuts and scrapes still actively bleeding and and he's not showing any sign that he can even tell they are there or any of slowing down. He doesn't even realize anything hit him.]
